yes... the 3 second Yao thing is faily reminiscent of the non calls on Olajuwon for walking with the ball in about 40% percent of his buckets...

A few 3 sec. violation VS. a hack and a grab on every possession...

Oh please, Rocket fans really need to stop whining so much. Yao rarely ever gets position on the defensive end to warrant all the non-calls that go in his favor. He's sooooooooooooo slow yet usually get the benefit because he's so tall.

I know you're trying to be all objective-mod guy and everything, and I realize this might be at least partly facetious, but this is bull **** as high as you can stack it.
For the game, the Jazz outscored the Rockets in points in the paint by a goodly margin, and were ahead in the category all game long.
This was one of the most atrociously one-sided affairs I have ever seen in which the calls have actually gone against the home team. My flaber is completely gasted.

Yes, I do agreed that Yao is slow and can't sometimes find a position but that doesn't give other teams to hack and to grab him freely when he does finally get his position. Maybe because other teams know that they can get away with it.
And as for the defensive end. Sadly, Yao gets even worst treatment from the referees...
Anyways, it was entertaining game non the less and as a fan of Rockets, I wish you guys best of luck in the future.

Utah does lots of flopping.
The 6th foul called on Yao was absolutely bogus.

Which part would that be? Or do you simply doubt that when a 7'6" 310 lbs. person runs into a 6'7" 225" person (who is standing squarly in his way) that the smaller person would actually fall down?
If that's the case, then I'm sure we can agree to disagree.

Not to mention the fact that Yao should have already been fouled out TWICE for camping in the restricted circle the previous two times down the court and blocking the path of a Jazz player (first DWill then Brewer) from landing.
****, don't get me started. I'll be here all night. All you need to do is look at the disparity in FTs, and then consult the fact that the Jazz scored more points in the paint and draw more fouls per FGA than Houston does (and we don't even have to bring HCA into it, that would really put it over the top) in order to immediately become puzzled.
Whatever, I'm just glad we won and can move on. But this game was a textbook example of why NBA officiating is a completely broken institution.

And the 6th foul on Memo wasn't? Fair is fair. If you're calling crap fouls to foul out our center, be ready to take the same.

Re: Jazz vs. the Fodder: 3/4/09
Yeah, not to mention the refs did their best to keep Yao in the game early in the fourth. He easily could have fouled out quite a bit eariler in the game if the refs didn't let him go on some questionable no calls in the paint.
