Official Mike Hass Support Thread

Post#1 » by seeso » Thu Aug 9, 2007 7:02 am

The guy catches everything. I hope we keep 6 receivers, because there's no way Hass makes the team if we keep 5.

1. Muhsin Muhammed
2. Bernard Berrian
3. Mark Bradley
4. Rashied Davis
5. Devin Hester

6. Mike Hass?

Is Rashied Davis all that much better than Hass? Show your support!

I'm telling you, he did the exact same thing w/ the Saints last year. Yes, he catches everything, but he can never get open because he is slow as hell.

He wasn't in NO long enough for you to know if he could get open or not by what went on there.
He has been timed in 4.6 which isn't fast, but its not much slower than 4.53 which isn't fast either but is fast enough.
He was able to get open enough to catch tons of balls in the Pac 10 and there are a bunch of Pac 10 D-backs playing in the NFL. So maybe he can get up against some of them and get open for some catches?

What was Jerry Rice's 40 time? I don't know but it wasn't very fast.

No one See's Hass as a potential, next Tom Waddle???

He wasnt to fast either, but who wouldnt love to have a player like him nowadays? Especially just as a 6th reciever he could step it up, or if not you could cut him... its only a 6th reciever spot

These aren't your father's Bears where guys like Tom Waddle made the cut. Lovie's team is all about SPEED - and if he doesn't have it, he probably won't make the cut.

In January when he was still with the Cardinals. They cut him because he failed a drug test.

Jerry Rice was amazing at getting open in spite of limited speed. There are a thousand slow receiver wannabes with good hands for every Jerry Rice. What makes you think that Haas has what it takes?

Before the TD catch David Ball made a catch out of bounds which could be the best I have ever seen.
