This is a must-win game for the C's, otherwise it will be difficult playing catch-up throughout the remainder of the season. I hope Garnett is healthy for this game.

Got tickets for this game, should be exciting.

It's going to be a scrum for sure, but not a must win. You really can't read much into games where we are missing KG, 2 other rotation guys, and trying to fit in two new players. I still think we are going to win, but I'm not looking forward to the board panic threads if we don't.

I'm not going to expect a win, this is possibly the biggest obstacle team standing in our way of the title and we are missing Garnett, TA, Scal and have 2 new guys trying to hit their groove....

not a good time to be facing them, especially considering this could have been a 2 game turnaround in the standings

I really.... reeaaally hope Doc gives Bill Walker some time on Lebron, im not expecting amazing lock down defense or anything, but just a strong body to put on him for a couple of minutes at a time to see if hes effective at all, if he gets lit up for 10 straight points we know in the playoffs we have to try something else, if he can hassle lebron enough to force the ball out of his hands, or keep the ball away from him we might be on to something.

We cant afford to have Pierce on for 48 minutes guarding lebron or his offense will be completely gone by the 4th quarter

I doubt we get the win. They'll obviously lock down on Pierce and Ray Allen has a trend of becoming solely a jump shooter against tough defensive teams, and more than likely he won't hit 60%+ of his jump shots so we really need offense to come from somewhere.

Marbury?

Doubt it.

This game couldn't have come at a worse time, but I do believe we have a very strong chance of a pulling out a win regardless. One of the keys to this game will without a question be how productive our bench is and their ability to outplay Clevelands second unit. Hopefully we get to see a little of Walker on Lebron.

We haven`t been playing well in the last few games. Our defense has really been disappointing. Without KG the cavs are the favourites. Still at home I hope we can get a win.

Just don`t double team Lebron please! I do not want to see us getting killed by open threes...

The wannabe-resason-minded voice inside of me just tells me:

uh oh

I don't think we will get the HC advantage, but I'm still confident that we are able to beat Cleveland in a playoff series in six games.

This is obviously going to be a tough game, they haven't been playing that great without KG. So they really need to pick it up tonight. And yes if they want home court this is a must win for the C's.

I think we will lose this one, so be prepared mentally from now and dont start to freak,if we lose tonight I hope it would be because we played bad and not some bad calls from the referees. If we win it won't be like winning super bowl like some of you are suggesting, the cavs are good but this is the first good team they play since they faced the rockets.

I always see a win....of course when at home...we ARE extremely short handed but...this team steps it up and wins it.....C's by 5 8-)

ps....When you're the Champs and healthy....HCA should NOT stop the train from rolling on..... 8-)

Tough tough game...I think we'll win, I think we are at home, we'll be fired up, and CLE might be just a wee-bit overconfident...no Joe Smith tonight for them, either (he's out)...and I know how everyone around here thinks he's the death knell for us... 8-)
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

unless we play a LOT better than we've been playing we're going to get embarrassed at home. I still think that by the time the playoffs come we will be the best team in the nba but we're not there yet. a win would be sweet but on paper at least this doesn't look good.pierce has to play lebron tonight and he also has to have a huge game for us offensively since they're going to shut down ray. tonight would be a good time for marbury to get hot

Over the past week the Celtics have played against four below 500 teams. They lost two of those games and barely won the other two.

Now the celtics are playing the best team in the east. Celtics have zero chance in this game. They will get embarrassed at home and will lose by 15 points.

Doc should seriously consider resting PP, Allen and Rondo the whole game like the spurs did a few weeks ago. This way they have a better chance against the magic on Sunday.

I couldn't disagree with your statement about forfieting the game more. You have to play your best players, giving the team a chance to win.

We are 2 pt favorites in this game. Some of ya'll are being too negative. Did ya'll forget about our defensive schemes that force Lebron to shoot jumpers all day? I mean sure, no KG, but I still think our scheme will hold tough and other guys will have to make shots to beat us.

I actually think Marbury is very important in this game and should get a lot of minutes. The cavs have a bunch of combo guards so it should bode well for Steph. Also like to see Mikki outplay Joe.
