Yeah he seemed upset about the trade as well. Looks like the Toronto - TB trade did end up going through.

Its a good time to be a Flames fan for sure.
Yes this spells the end for Cammo. . . but the writing was on the wall to begin with. Even his agent said they have not had a single discussion on an extension.
Watch for him to end up in Vancouver next season on a really nice contract.

What a great message from Sutter. We are in win now mode. Deep playoffs is not good enough. Time to get back to the finals.
And really, the flames are in a great position. They managed to get solid players by giving up prospects, picks, and role players.
Lombardi was redundant, as Bourque, Glencross, Moss and Boyd passed him on the depth chart.
Our picks were expendable as the farm team is loaded for the first time in a lot of years.

I like this a lot. I imagine when Flame players heard they picked up Leo on Olli, there was a concern of what they had to give up. To find out it was only Lombo and Prust must have been pretty exciting.

Great pick up on Leopold. Him and Regher played together a few years ago and looked great together. Plus, he can play both the right and left defensive position. Can't go wrong there.

Just gotta see if Jokinen can have chemistry with the team and see if he can succeed in the playoffs, since he has never been there.

I know what you're thinking. We're in the middle of a city, what's a hawk doing there?
