At this point in the season, whenever I see Darius Songaila hit a shot or have a good game, I basically say to myself "What good came of that?".

As NBA fans, and specifically, Wizards fans, we always have to have a end-goal in mind. So for this season, the goal is to improve as a team and get the young guys some minutes. We aren't winning a championship. We aren't making the playoffs. We aren't even in the discussion of being on the outside looking in at the playoffs.

So once again....what good does Darius Songaila serve? What good does giving him the amount of minutes serve? He's been playing decent basketball, but does that have any impact on this organization's goals?

Just thinking out loud, and I know I'm preaching to the choir, but I just need to vent.

Now THIS is an awesome lineup.

Crittenton
Young
McGuire
Blatche
McGee

Shame it's only going to last about 1 minute.

Sweet pass from Blatche to Young for the slam.

Shame Jamison and Songaila had to check in shortly after.

Party's over, kids. The grown-ups have to spoil the fun.

How many more games before Comcast fixes the Wizards' score from flashing?

If they didn't have poor production values, they wouldn't have any.

Garbage time will be quite extended. Hopefully that means young guys playing.

NOTE: I am NOT requesting or petitioning for McGee to get more minutes with this post. Just merely throwing some theories out there....

Is it possible that McGee's mother dated Tapscott and then dumped him for the future Mr. McGee? And now, Ed is taking all of his pent up frustration and anger out on her NBA-playing son?

'Cause, you know, it's a 23 point lead for the Spurs with 3:06 remaining in the 3rd quarter. And McGee isn't in the game.

Tony Parker is a more efficient version of Allen Iverson in his prime, without the tattoos or posse. The degree of difficulty on the shots that he routinely makes is off the charts.

I think the Spurs come out of the West this year and probably win another ring.

so, what's the latest excuse for Pech not getting a minute of floor time? Can't they just waive him or get a 2nd round pick if he's that bad?
