GAME 63: Phoenix Suns at San Antonio Spurts

Post#1 » by Gorilla Warfare » Sun Mar 8, 2009 6:18 pm

Starting Lineups- San Antonio "flop in 7 seconds or less" Spurts

C- Matt "flopper" Bonner
PF- Tim "I never foul" Duncan
SF- Michael "veteran flopper" Finley
SG- Roger "I can only hit wide open 3's" Mason
PG- Tony "my wife beats me" Longoria

PHOENIX SUNS

C- Shaq Diesel
PF- Matty Barnes
SF- Grant "fastest 36 yr. old" Hill
SG- J-Rich
PG- Steve Nashty

All Flopping + Referees adoring the Spurts = Suns more then likely lose this game. Hoping for a win though, sadly I'll be at work so I wont be watching.

I'll be watching...most likely another loss...

The Lakers win SHOULD have been the game which sparked us, but it wasn't. We get killed here and I don't see us sniffing the playoffs...

CAN'T leave the 3 shooters open like we always do, Bonner/Finley/Bowen will nail those 3s every time. We're lucky no Manu...again...

I'm sticking with my plan to expect a beating and hope for a miracle. We're now 3.5 games out after Dallas beat the Generals last night ...
I really expect we make our run too late, end up out of the playoffs by .5 game on the last game and last shot of the season, just to further break hearts and cause aneurysms.

This has loss written all over it. Once you play at the Spurs tempo, your pretty much a sitting duck. Even though i hate the spurs with fury, i must admit they play excellent team ball. Also, they're GM doesn't get rid of core players just to save a few extra bucks [ala kerr/sarver].

JVG just said the stupidest thing I've ever heard anyone say, that Nash gets away with more than anyone else in the league when complaining/yelling to the ref.

This is why im starting to shy away more and more from basketball. Clearly; Duncan went over the back for that rebound over Amundson. If it were the other way around, i guarantee it would have been called.

What a PATHETIC end to the half
what was that, a 14-0 run over the last 5 minutes or so?
Everyone trying to do it by themselves. They were doing great leading with less than 5 minutes to go in the half.
Now they're down 13, and you don't come from behind 13 in San Antonio.

Meanwhile, every OTHER team ahead of the Suns pulls out wins no matter what.

I've had it.
When I breeze past, breathe fast, on point like Steve Nash

:vent: suns have also stopped running and pushing the ball up the court these past few games. they show spurts of it here and there, but they need to do it on a far more consistent basis to have any chance of winning games.
