I don't mind you guys screwing up your own chances -- I am neither a fan nor a nonfan of the Nuggets -- but messing up the Kings' lottery chances along the way...that I resent.

Pathetic...should have been a guranteed win...let alone a must win and the nuggets fail

This is alarming... but that's not a surprise this is the Nuggets.

What I found most surprising is Billups' demeanor the past like 5-6 games... he plays selfishly and doesn't seem to care anymore.

I've never seen Billups like that... he must be sick playing with a bunch of guys who for whatever reason don't cherish wins and put their own schedules ahead of winning in their priority list.

We can still turn it around, but I doubt it... we're slipping down very fast. If we awkwardly miss the playoffs altogether or get swept again by the Lakers in the first round, I'd say two things we must do as soon as the season is over:
- Fire George Karl
- Get Carmelo Anthony out of here... I thought we got rid of cancer by trading away AI, but the cancer is still here... he just doesn't want to win... he has something else in his mind ahead of winning... whether it's his image as a player, whether it's his own success, whether it's the stats... as long as he keeps smiling when the team is in a peril when the team down by 10-20 with 4 mins left, then noone will ever take him seriously... let alone take him seriously as a leader.

I know in tough times, or whatever it's his demeanor to smile, but **** this, you smile, then you are saying that you don't care and you don't have sense of urgency. Ship out the players who don't care, bring in players who play to win every game.

Sick of this "I don't care" attitude. Like he's a prima donna. If you're reading this Melo, go retire. You're already rich.

What the hell is happening to this team ? I was so excited watching Nene and Kenyon on defense the week before all-star break and that win in Philly. After the Philly win, I don't remember anything good from Nuggets on the road. Wow.

All the Kings' shots basically were because the pressure was not KEPT ON.

Oh yeah, and I have waited a long time to be negative on Kleiza, but man we've really needed him and he's stunk up the place badly for quite a few games now.

Melo was the only one that was hooping today...billups is starting to really play like **** and isnt making any contributions...LK sucked...Jr struggled...Birdman didnt even make an effect on the game....the Defense was horrible

^For the same reason you never fully realize what's wrong with this team. It's the desire to win every game... if you have your best player smiling in this game, down by 10 with a minute left.

This is dangerous to the whole organization, because for the fact he's the team's best player. Everyone looks to him. I could care less if Dahntay Jones or Balkman smile in that game knowing we're gonna lose, but the best player? The leader? Something has to change or you're going to endure the same thing every year.

Unless we acquire Kobe or LeBron who is better than Melo, and assumes the leadership of this team, in which case I wouldn't care anymore if Melo wants to smile for 48 minutes every game, he has to get out because simply he's the leader by default, the whole team looks to him, and the team looks to his approach to winning every game. If he likes to smile in that type of situation, it says a lot about the whole state of the team's sense of urgency and approach to games in that type of situation, at this point of the season.

It's subtle but it's alarming.

Snake, do you like looking like a fawking moron?

The thing wrong with this team is the coach.

It has NOTHING to do with Melo smiling. That's what he does when he is upset and frustrated. Some people respond that way. It doesn't mean he cares any less or doesn't want to win. Only a (Please Use More Appropriate Word) would say it means he doesn't want to win.

No offense kid. But you're seriously being an idiot, bringing up this smiling BS again.
