tem #2: Bayless vs. Telfair: A budding rivalry?

As the rest of the media horde listened, people starting trying to guess which player asked, but was not given, Roy's shoes.

"...Sebastian (Telfair)?" came one of the guesses.

"(Bleep) Sebastian," a disgusted voice said nearby.

That voice was Blazers guard Jerryd Bayless, whose locker is next to Roy's.

There were a few "oohs" when he said it, and jokingly I turned to Bayless and said "Quote, unquote", playfully threatening to quote him.

"I don't care,'' Bayless said, cinching up his tie.

Later, I went back to Bayless and made sure I could quote him.

"As long as you don't use the cuss word,'' Bayless said.

Our garbage point guard could beat up your garbage point guard.

No background as to why he said that?

Sebass is a borderline starter/very good bench player. That is a positive thing for us to have. Bayless is not there yet.

Sebastian Telfair is absolutely not a starting PG.

Bassy's problem isn't lack of PG skills, it's everything else. If he could finish at the rim or shoot threes consistently, he could be an NBA starter. If he could do both, he'd be a star. As it is, he (like so many other players on the Wolves) would come off the bench on a good team.

Bayless might be one of those unproven players that likes to pick fights (the lame kind), sorta like Deshawn with lebron last year. Though he may have been upset with the Lebron-Industrial-Complex.

1st---why not?

38.5 FG% + 30.5 3PT% - defense = bench player

He is like Iverson with 1/10 the talent.

IMO his biggest problem is consistency and he needs a much better shot selection even though I'd say that his shot selection looked a bit better recently. but this is just offense...

if we'd talk about D we wouldn't even know where to begin with

I couldn't understand the title. Devilz's accent is too difficult to understand.
