Secret Weapon is on the Bench...

Post#1 » by stockmarketgod » Mon Mar 9, 2009 6:10 am

I think our secret weapon is on the bench....

Dikembe, Mutombo( cookie monster )-----> (okay laughs, knocks on me aside...)

when Yao went down the cookie monster... came in and helped us to win 12 more games... in last years 22 game win streak....

the guy may be old... but he can still play defense... too many times,... this year like the one today... when Yao goes out of the game the other teams make a run...

some may say we need more offensive production...

I say... we need defensive stops, more than to score points... especially in a game like today when your up by 20-25 points... and cookie monster is the one to give us that crucial....5 or 10 minutes of defense... when you can put away a team...

Im hoping that... RA is just saving cookie monster for the playoffs... where he can go full out with what ever minutes RA gives him....

Hell ya, especially we play against the New York Knicks with Eddy Curry on the squad, man Brian can really cook.

James White seems pretty real in some write-ups. haha. I really want to see a bit of his basketball action.

I agree!! Since Deke came back Yao has picked up his game. Think about it, before deke, who would guard yao in practice? CHuck Sucky Hayes?? Yao wasn't being pushed to become better. Now Yao has more lift on his shot and add that with better conditioning, he will continue to improve. Let's just hope he doesn't catch any of Deke's jagged elbows.....

Unfortunately for us we just waived our secret weapon. And now a dozen teams are willing to sign him.
