Karl wants Nuggets to set record for wins (poll)

Post#1 » by Jazzman20 » Mon Mar 9, 2009 7:26 pm

No one had posted this yet, so I thought I would take the liberty:

http://basketball.realgm.com/src_wireta ... _for_wins/

To reach George Karl's "goal", the Nuggets would have to go 15-3 to close out the season with 55 wins, a personal best for the Nuggets.

Below is Denver's remaining schedule-
March
vs. Houston
vs. OKC
vs. LAC
vs. New Jersey
@ Memphis
vs. Washington
@Phoenix
@NOH
@Dallas
vs. Golden State
vs. Knicks

April
vs. Utah
vs. LAC
@Minnesota
vs. OKC
@LAL
vs. SAC
@Portland

So, how will Denver really finish out?

Karl just wants them to do it so he can get COY riding on Chauncey's coattail.

Can't see they going any better than 14-4 and any worse than 11-7. 13-5 IMO.

They are inconsistent as hell. And something is going on in their lockerroom, it seems to me like they aren't listening to George Karl anymore.

I'm going to say 11-7.

I said 10-8 myself. I just don't see a team that is focused and determined right now, plus they have serious isuues with depth and consistency.

I think their loss to the jazz heart them mentally. they were playing so well until the end of the 1st half and than the jazz starting to make the run to get back in it, that loss had to hurt their spirits

I'll go out on a limb and say they finish the season at roughly the same pace they've played so far. .625 = 11-7.
