Pats' Harrison to be suspended four games...

Post#1 » by High 5 » Sat Sep 1, 2007 1:35 am

New England Patriots strong safety Rodney Harrison will be suspended by the NFL for four games, sources told ESPN's Chris Mortensen, after admitting to federal investigators and to league officials that he used Human Growth Hormone.

Now he'll probably win DPOY.

Should of suspended him for being a cheap shot artist.

LOL.

He didn't even test for it. He admitted it on his own accord.

It just prolongs how quickly he'll break another leg and hits the IR.

Bobby Wade making him unable to play was revenge enough, but being "cheap" is part of the game

No way. Rodney is a leader and mentor of that team and secondary. I hope he gets a coaching job in the future with the pats. Not to mention Rodney Harrison is awesome. You have him go and that whole secondary will be alot worse off without him. I know hes old and I know he's slow, but who else has a leadership position in that backfield? You really want Eugene Wilson to be yer vet back there?

And so o.k. how about the chargers cutting merriman?

If I was the Chargers I wouldn't want anything to do with Merriman either. Harrison can be replaced, he is not close to what he used to be. If he is so much of a leader he would be smarter than this, if I was on the team I'd have a hard time looking up to him.

How do you feed such a tall horse, SSK? Do you have to use a step-ladder?

If you need to use HGH to play in this league you shouldn't be in it. For being a team leader it's even worse. He should go IMO. And no it's a full ladder.

He didnt use it to play better. he used it to get back quicker from his injuries. What did merriman use it for? it has nothing to do with his play on the field or how he handles himself int hat locker room. Thats why he is still a leader. Thats why he is rodney harrison. He wanted to get back on the field so bad and thats why he did what he did. was it right? no. He admitted it on his on accord and no he'll take his punishment, let him finish out the season, dont cut him now, that'd send a horrible messge from management to the team.

And i'm sure your naive enough to believe that half of the league isnt on HGH or steroids.

I'm sure there are quite a few players using stuff they shouldn't be and it's a shame for the league and the fans. I don't understand what is so hard by just playing with your God given abilities. If Rodney was such a good leader he wouldn't have put his team in this spot.
