Also, his jumpshot isn't that great. Imagine when he masters that. And he will. Hate the guy all you want for flopping and crying and probably being an egotistical ****, but don't deny that he's the best basketball player you'll probably ever see.

No no he's not. Wilt has that wrapped up pretty easily.

I don't know about easily. LeBron is doing things no one has ever done.

I find it impossible to compare players from such different eras. It's just a substantially different game. You may as well compare LeBron James to Babe Ruth the games are so different.

Anybody who averaged 50 and 25 wins, but I do understand your point.

I think Bird and MJ are two who have had better seasons as well.

Wilt played against weaker competition in a ridiculously uptempo game. Not that he sucks or anything, but I have no idea how he'd fare in today's game. I know he wouldn't be dropping 50 and 25 (he also wouldn't be playing every single minute of every game like he did that season). Drop LeBron in 1962 where teams are dropping 125 points a game. You don't think he'd be going absolutely nuts? He's 6'8" 275. He'd essentially be a center with point guard skills.

LeBron is step for step with MJ's '87-'88 season, which was probably his best. As for Bird, yeah, like it's actually possible to objectively discuss Larry Bird here.

He is, but that doesn't mean you have to like him.

On a side note, the Clips are... no wait.... I don't wanna jinx them. It's too early. :-?

The Clippers are trying so hard to give this game to Cleveland.

The Cavs are 0-17 from 3-point range and were down 19 earlier in the 4th.

Since then, the Clippers have proceeded to take about 15 consecutive awful shots. And by awful, I mean 1-on-1 contested 17-24 footers. No passing. No dribble penetration.

I read about how poorly this team is coached, but wow. They're going to be lucky to beat the Cavs on the Cavs' worst night of the season.

As for LeBron, I don't think there's any doubt that when his career is over, it'll rank in the top-5. The guy is 6'8" 270, and would dominate at 5 positions. His shooting needs some work but that will come with age and experience. Everything else is already there and just going to get better. He's not the GOAT -- how could he be? -- but add a Pippen-like sidekick and he'll rack up the championships necessary to enter the GOAT discussion.

Thanks Clippers. Blew a 19-point lead.

That was one of the most pathetic performances I have ever seen. Cleveland didn't even play well down the stretch. They finally hit a couple 3's after missing their first 18 or 19, but it wasn't hard to come back when LA was doing nothing but hitting bricks and making lazy passes.

Dunleavy never called a timeout. He never called a set play. He did nothing. Unbelievable.

And the players? Davis is clearly mailing it in. Zach Randolph's basketball IQ is in single digits. He ended the game by shooting a 3 with time left and a 2-point deficit. And Dunleavy insisted on playing Kaman, who's out of shape and played horrendously all quarter.

If we miss out on homecourt by 1 game, this is the game to look at. This joke of an NBA franchise just choked away an easy win being handed to them by an out-of-sorts Cavs team. And a couple weeks after lucking into a win over us.

**** YOU CLIPPERS AND **** YOU DUNLEAVY. EABFD.

The Clippers just played the most amazing brand of inept brain dead basketball that I have seen since Antoine Walker tried to take on the Nets by himself in 2003. Wow - how did they lose that game, and, more importantly, where was this horrible spirit in the fourth quarter of the game I went to a couple weeks ago??? I'd love to complain that Lebron and the Cavs just got all kinds of BS calls down the stretch and all of that, but no . . . the Clippers just gave it to them.

Oh well - go Eastern Conference. I
