My theory is....
Shaq wants to make sure that the Suns come in 8th seed. He asked the team to do this and everyone agreed to go with this plan. Shaq wants Kobe in the opening round of the Playoffs. And the only way to make sure it happens is for the Suns to come in 8th. So he asked the team to throw a few games here and there. Yeah?
