I still think Martin was NOT our best chance to win. He sucks at the end of games! He leans into the defender to try to draw the foul and it NEVER works, and worse, he does that the whole freakin' game now. Relying on the refs like that is downright WUSSY. He's developing some bad habits and Natt should bench him more often.

Well this explains why Martin was not in, and contrary to Wolfy belief, it had nothing to do with martin being a "wussy".

Hawes had another great game offensivly, he really needs to be more agressive rebounding the ball 4 defensive rebounds isnt enough when your 7 foot tall

I like the team alot better with Noc starting and Garcia on then bench Sisco seems way more comfortable being a 6th man and is playing alot better, and Mcants is a great pickup as well i hope he is resigned this year, id be happy with just him and maybe solomon resigned this off season as well as Griffin

Thunder missed 46 shots, Hawes played 80 percent of the game, lets presume that 80 percent of their missed shots occured while Hawes was on the court, which equals to 37 missed Thunder shots with Hawes on the court, Hawes got 4 of those rebounds roughly 1 in 9 missed shots Hawes grabed. He has so much talent on the Offensive side of the ball, same with K-Mart, but the one major thing that both need to improve on if they want to be a real star is there Defence. Speficly for Hawes is his rebounding

Hawes played really well and is looking really comfortable, JT is still making a lot of turnovers and Natt is a overreacting to his mistakes. In the entire second quarter I counted 3 touches to him in the post. He scored on 2 and had the ball stolen on one because the guard wasn't spaced right. They were making him distribute the ball a lot at the center of the 3 point line where he is still having trouble passing but he will come around. He made an incredible move in the 2nd quarter on a and got a three point play but is really the last option on the court when he should be a 3rd option. His teammates need to get more comfortable with him. It is hilarious because Natt has been trying to win all season and has been stingy with Donte's minutes and JT's minutes and we are still losing. Donte didn't even play and we lost I know the guy got used against the Pacers but he is a rookie and all just let him play 10 minutes. The good news is Hawes is coming around which is a really good sign for next year. Get us a PG who can make a shot in the clutch moments and we are set for a playoff run next year. JT will come around if given the trust of the other guys.

In their defense, when 1 player has 20 and 10 and your star player averages 26, theres not exactly a ton of points to be had. He still should have played better, but you cant expect those two to have great nights together on a consistent basis.

Statistically, sure, but Jason just hasn't been playing that well recently. I'm personally not too worried about it. Most rookies hit a wall around now, and he's just no exception.

I think Jason is ahead of where Spencer was last year. I can really see both of them having breakout seasons next year.

I would have agreed with you a month ago, but now I'm not sure. The other thing is Hawes played 13 Minutes a game his rookie year, while JT has played literally twice that.

Also I'm not sure it is fair to compare a 22 year old rookie with a 19 year old rookie.

Spencer was more skilled at 19 than Jason is now and I think if given the same opportunity as Jason, Spencer would have been more productive too. Jason is teetering that line of being an energy guy, which we can use for sure, but I don't think that is what we need.

Agreed. Its the difference between a solid role player, and a future star.
