You can pick up Green, but Reynolds is only a junior so he is back in school next year so you can't pick him up.

The Los Angeles Clippers and Toronto Raptors have reached a trade agreement:

Toronto Sends:
Jerrod Bayless $2,143,080
Rights to Carlos Delfino

Clippers Send:
Marcus Camby $9,650,000

Trade works. Since Toronto is more than 9 million under the cap, they can absorb Camby's salary.

Clippers accept. We are in a full on rebuild mode and with a glut of bigs on our team, we figured that Camby's elite defense and rebounding will be of better use elsewhere. Bayless has been a big disappointment so far, but we'll just a take a flier on him.

The Suns and the Mavs have come into trade agreement:

1. Mavs send Aaron Gray (2 million) and Jared Dudley (1.3 million) to Suns for TPE worth 3.3 million, 2011 Cavs 1st - unprotected and 2011 Suns top 5 protected 1st.
2. Suns send Richard Hendrix (0.7 million) and Sonny Weems (0.7 million) to Mavs for TPE worth 1.7 million
3. Suns send Kelena Azubuike (3.1 million) to Mavs for Mike Conley (3.9 million)
3.1 x 1.25 + 0.1 = 3.975 > 3.9

Suns outgoing/Mavs incoming:
Kelenna Azubuike
Richard Hendrix
Sonny Weems
2011 Cavs 1st unprotected
2011 PHX 1st top 5 protected

Suns incoming/Mavs outgoing:
Mike Conley
Aaron Gray
Jared Dudley

Suns like what they see with Conley. We believe Conley could end up our future starting point guard. Gray and Dudley are decent fillers and serviceable back-ups.

Dallas accepts. We had to be realistic about Conley's playing time here with Rose being the future, so we consolidate with future selections.

Dallas and Memphis have agreed to a trade.

Dallas Sends

2010 MEM 1st pick
2010 DET 2nd pick

Memphis Sends

Kyle Lowry.

Dallas can take on the salary as we are still under the cap.

Dallas accepts. We've removed a PG recently and Lowry should feature well as a backup here. With the major protections on the Memphis 1st we wouldn't have received decent return on it, so we consilidate with youth here.

Memphis accepts. Lowry was not a part of our long-term plans and we had lost a lot of trade flexibility with the protection on our pick (would not be able to trade a first till 2013). The second was a nice consolation price with loosing the talent of Lowry, because it will be fairly high next year.

Suns and Mavs have agreed to another deal:

Mav's sends Sonny Weems (0.7 million) to Suns for TPE.
Suns sends Javaris Crittenton (1.5 million) and Jared Dudley (1.3 million) to Mavs for Kelena Azubuike (3.1 million)

(1.5 + 1.3) x 1.25 + 0.1 = 3.6 million > 3.1 million
Numbers work.

We need outside shooting and Azubuike has been hot from the 3pt area throughout the season. This deal also give us additional weapon off the bench or occasional starter in 2-guard position. Crittenton is a nice prospect but the team has decided to go with Conley and Teague moving forwards. Also much as we like to retain Dudley we already have 4 players who can play the small forward spot. Lastly, Weems is... Sonny Weems.

Dallas waives Richard Hendrix.

Dallas accepts. While we would like to keep Azubuike, this follow up trade is part of our original agreement. We're fine with the return here.

Since they are currently over the roster max, New Jersey cuts Mardy Collins
