This is gonna be a tough one--D.Wade is on a rampage lately---trying to secure the MVP it seems!

yeh, gonna take a huge effort from Ray and the team on D to keep Wade jump shooting as much as possible and away from the rim...

so, no baby, no rondo, no scal, no KG, no TA....

damn we are undermanned, i still think we can pull it out though

and again... AGAIN, pleaase give Walker some burn and not play Pierce for 46+ minutes Doc

Good chance for Marbury to step up

As long as we show up all four quarters this shouldn't be too difficult esp. when you look back at the Orlando loss where we only showed up for a half and almost took it. I'm expecting to see more from Marbury and hopefully some game time for Walker, but have a strong feeling this game will fall on the hands of Pierce and Allen. Another key component to this game would also be keeping the TO < 12 seeing as how this tends to be our achilles heel.

Wade is gonna have a field day IMO. Doc has been running Ray into the ground lately, and we really have no one else who can stay with Wade since TA is out. Fingers crossed that Doc will double team him every possession and make his *trash* teammates beat us.

Just don`t play PP and Ray more than 32 minutes and I will be happy...

I want to see Giddens and Walker on Wade...

I think we might see a lot of Pruitt tonight. Use him on Wade and hope he can do somethings. This is going to be a tough game for the team.

And both Ray and Pierce will be playing more than 32 minutes tonight, unless of course the game gets out of hand.

Look for D- Wade to drop 30 in this one, we should get the win by 8.

Yeah, west, can you whip me up a tuna sandwich? Thanks.

Should be a fun game to watch. I am hoping wade steals the MVP away from LeBron or Kobe.

Me too, but LeBron's already got MVP wrapped judging by how much the media is swingin' from his nuts. Plus I'm sure half the voters don't even know who D-wade is the way BSPN spoon-feeds everyone LBJ highlights.

I say Dwade has a huge night. Ray's become a decent defender but he's logged too many minutes lately and with no one but Perk guarding the rim (and getting in foul trouble early), there won't be anyone to defend the paint and Dwade will have a field day on us.

I, too, hope Giddens and Walker get some time. Get them some reps b/c you never know when a player can go down with an injury, although we seem to be getting TOO used to that.

GO CELTICS!!!

We're in a sh*t load of trouble tonight. Ray Allen guarding D-Wade? Wade might drop 50.

No one player can shut down Wade you fool, it's a team effort. Stop with your Ray Allen hate...it's really unwarranted and annoying. :nonono:

Be easy, man. Surely you know that Ray Allen is a horrible defender. I'm no hating, just speaking the truth.

The best way to play Wade is to make him play D on the other end and to short the damage and tire him out. Switch him out and make him chase Ray around a bit....post him up down low with Paul also. Keep him busy on the defensive end....that's what you do..... 8-)

I think what is really going to mess us up in this game is Chalmers pressure on our point guards. He is a lot like Rondo, and just imagine sicking Rajon on Eddie and this rusty version of Marbury. It could get really ugly out there. That kid even gave Rondo a little bit of a problem the last time we played them.

I'm a big Haslem fan and always think that he's a factor against us. He's the type who flies under the radar of most fans, but when you actually look at what happening out there he's often in the middle of what is happening for the Heat.

The addition of Moon has been good for them, and he actually has replaced Marion quite effectively. O'Neal could be a problem considering our big man issues. He is grossly overpaid, but he is still a good player and a defensive presence inside. I also like their bench. They have a lot of athletic young shooters.

Wade is playing bonkers basketball right now. Video game-like. It isn't just his scoring, but his passing and defense which are really impressing me. He also has his guys believing that they can hang in there with anyone. I think a lot of people forgot how awesome this guy is when healthy... I know that I did.

Well, it's not like Ray Allen is guarding him one on one the whole game. The Celtics are all about team d. PPl were saying the same thing last week about Pierce guarding Lebron for the entire game. This is the area where Posey got so overrated. People thought it was Posey being helpful on Lebron and Kobe, but in reality Lebron would blow by and reach the second layer of defense. The team D forced him into all contested jumpers and it will be the same for Dwyane. Wade has killed teams with his penetration and hitting the baseline cutter like Moon or Beasley, but I think our team has good enough team schemes to shut it down.

Seriously though, Spud, can you make one post that doesn't bash Ray or praise Pierce? I get the feeling that if we won the finals and Ray took home the MVP, you would be sitting on your couch crying. You can make a pretty solid argument that Ray deserved the MVP last year, too, so don't come in here saying we wouldn't win the Finals with Ray as MVP.
