How to become a better mod, by chatard5

Post#1 » by chatard5 » Thu Mar 12, 2009 3:50 am

I almost put my real name in instead of chatard5. I don't want anybody looking me up in the phone book calling me to hang out.

I have noticed that our good friend Miller4Ever, or M4E (CM4E to me), has become a mod. I want to be the 1st to say congrats (not really, b/c this is my first time on the board today and it's midnight). I think this is thread worthy. We were all sad to see Scoot and Count leave the modness, but nice to see them still post. PR07 has been a nice addition, and now we get M4E. Let's be honest, he probably just got the job cause somebody thought his video was funny. Can we blame them? No. What can we do? Give him tips on how to be a great mod, because we are all really smart and awesome. Anyways...

#1... Don't lock any of my threads, including this one, because everything I say is very well thought out.

#2. We all know cdash likes to verbally abuse some GDTs when we lose. Better him abuse the threads than his little puppy (I have no idea if he has a dog).

#3. If you get rid of the Conan tradition, I will take you down!

Before I forget, here is M4E's new song (not really): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTLwiccIOxI

#4. Dont be like this guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXf3wx5nPXU
Go to about 1:30...

Good luck! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Izet8zN1vmE

It's cool. These are some funny videos, man. I got the job because my video wasn't just funny, I also played basketball, and so I was in a very indirect way product placing the sport, and by extension, RealGM. See? Synergy. Seriously though, if modship was based on hilarity, you'd be the number 1 candidate.

I don't make the youtube videos, I just find and share them. The subtle things you put in your youtube video are just GENIUS! Sheer genius. Synergy rules.

Mwahaha.

Gremz's guide to dealing with chatard5.

#1. Take him out of his comfort zone, don't exercise his comedic bone, simply reply with "I concur" or "I do not concur".

#2. Convince him there is a hidden thread dedicated to him somewhere within the forums but it will take much time and dedication to follow all the clues to the hidden treasure. Perhaps months, even years.

#3. Reveal to him that Conan O'Brien is actually a distant cousin of yours, he will forever be in your good books.

#4. Whenever he posts respond with "Who's this chatard5 guy? Where'd he come from? Man i wish GoPacers733 were here".

#5. Distract him with something shiny.

Oooh, there are many more Genui (jeen-e-i, it's plural for genious, like fungi or hippopotami<---I made that up, but it turns out it's real! or cowi, which of course is the plural of cow)

I did just use genious again about 5 minutes ago, and I usually like to drag out a joke for months, if not years.

To #1, I make jokes to myself, so that one won't work, sorry.

#2. Where is the treasure?!? If I find the thread will it lead me to another site where I can print off the treasure map?

..... 4 hours later.....

#3. Still working on #2, I will let you guys know! I THOUGHT Conan and M4E looked alike! M4E, you must be what, 3/4 Irish and 1/4 Chinese?

#4. GP733 kicked ass

#5. You can NEVER distract me with something shiny. I mean I am not dumb enough to.... omg, wait a second.... I see a bunny in my backyard... I have to go catch it! It keeps hopping away from me. See you guys later, this could take hours! Remind me about that treasure when I get back.

This is true. I do have a dog, he is not a puppy, but during that Portland game, he was terrified. He does not like when I raise my voice, and does not understand that he is not the center of the universe, so anytime I show emotion, he thinks its about him. So when I was mad that night, he was cowering behind the kitchen table. Poor guy.

I'm pretty much convinced we won that Boston game because of count's powerful tradition abilities.
