enough is enough.....(reactionary thread)

Post#1 » by Matt34520 » Thu Mar 12, 2009 2:38 am

enough is enough, the Celtics need to bring KG back. I don't believe he is injured anymore, and I'm sure many would agree with me.

Everytime i see Doc Rivers say, we can win on the road, KG won't be back for a long time, there is no deadline for his return............i want to punch him in the face!!!!! you idiot!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOMECOURT IS A BIG DEAL, WHY DO YOU THINK CLEVELAND AND LA WANT IT SOOOO BAD???!!!

for those who think i'm full of pepperoni(don't know if you can swear on this site, :D ), let me ask you this...........if a game 7 between us and cleveland happens? who would you bet on?

better yet, would we have gotten by atlanta without homecourt? how about LA?

I doubt we would have beat Cleveland last year without home court, this year they are even better. Bottomline is if KG is 95% healthy, its time to play him..........
Ray still got game.

Two things. Please don't question KG's intensity, do you really think he would let them keep him out, if he was ready to play and saw this team losing. And, I am sigging this quote below, it made me laugh.

I DON'T MEAN TO BE MEAN, BUT WHAT PLAYOFFS WERE YOU WATCHING LAST YEAR?

We barley beat Cleveland at home, you think LeBron would let us beat him in Cleveland?

Cavs and LA want it that bad because they know they don't have a chance without it. La had to beat US on the road last year, and we went in there and beat THEM...they don't want that again....

we were a brand new team last season, and relied on home court early in the playoffs..

we are now a team full of guys with championship experience, who know how to win on the road (detroit and LA series' at least)

we will be fine as long as we are healthy

No need to panic...Im proud of this team, playing minus 5 players + marbury/Moore playing like crap and we still were so close to beating Orlando and Miami

Time to protect 2nd sead now and finish the seaosn helathy and with proven rotation. I think 9 man roation is the way to go

marbury
house
pierce/ray
powe
baby

Use Scal, Moore, Tony only in some matchups

Look at this way: we'll have FOUR chances to win ONE game in Clev and/or LA....I like that.

Bottom line is the the celtics are not getting it done. They lost because they let bums like Cook and Moon cut their heart outs with 3 pointers.

we despirately need to keep the 2 seed though, that small drop to third makes the run to the championship that much harder

from 2nd, we deal with Philly first up, which im happy with

joebiscuit=worst poster ever.

Health is more important than anything heading into april and may, the trainers and coaches know this...thats why rondo can play the 2nd half of the game hes injured in before hes sidelined for over a week.

The above posts about experience and how we won on the road in the final rounds of the playoffs are right...this team can win on the road in the playoffs at full health (wait til marbury gets back to himself)

Yes, we'll never beat CLE on the road or LA we suck let's trade Ray and KG and Paul and Rondo and start over, this team sucks...

God I hate Celtics posters sometime...I swear they are only happy and active (most of them) when things are bad...and if they think this is "bad" (contending for the #1 seed and another title) where the **** were they 2 years ago?

I'm not sure where this idea came from that the Celtics are invincible on home court playing scrubs. Home court advantage is of little value if we're playing with a roster like last night. A good team is going to beat us in Boston with that roster.

I like our chances of winning a game on the road with a full roster better than sweeping all our home games with last nights roster. Much better IMO to get healthy for the playoffs. The absolute worst thing that could happen to the Celtics is to rush KG and RR back, and have them get re-injured and not be playing when the playoffs start.

Home court be damned, I want the full roster available when playoffs start.

Exactly what I've been saying, Dave, I'd rather be healthy come playoff time and take on all comers than banged up and have a series or two at home...

Some people here aren't what you call "big picture" people...

Um, I'm basically 100% sure that Bleeding Green was being sarcastic. Relax, guys.
