What I do know is the Scott Paper Towel Company will be sad .....sales will go down.
The Site will be happier....the doom and gloomers will take a break as they did this past off season.
The band wagon will fill up again and the non-believers will fall off as they are beginning to fall off now..... 8-)

Anyways, the night we win the championship should be fun for me again hopefully, that's all I care about.

1.) We head down to the Black Rose and tip a pint or three for the Green!

2.) We call out all of the Cav and Lakers fans on this board to bow before the Champs

3.) We definitely don't trade Ray or any of the starting 5 for that matter

4.) We tweak the bench and do it all again next year

5.) We remember all the non-believers, but cut them slack cause they know not what they do; or is it, they know not that they are doodoo?

If the Celtics repeat then there will only be 1,000 let's trade Ray Allen threads instead of the 2,000 threads if they lose.

Maybe Danny Ainge can trade Ray Allen for Antoine Walker and make everyone happy. :wink:

Coming from a mod, this should say something...

I just wish those who were so negative during the bad days didn't have to be the turd in the punchbowl for the rest of us during these exciting good times contending for titles. I mean, right now we are competing for the top two seeds in the conference to try and DEFEND OUR TITLE...they had more fun posting when we were chasing the #1 lottery pick, for Pete's sake... :roll:

we will find that a veteran team with 3 aging and one up and coming star WHO HAVE ACTUALLY PLAYED TOGETHER FOR A YEAR will find ways to win on the road in the playoffs

I guess the real question is whether or not Boston has Ray Allen's bird rights. If it does, then there's absolutely no reason to blow up the Big 3.

No matter what happens to this team, KG and Pierce are staying for the next few years, if not for the rest of their lives.

I agree, but like I said, it is only a few sour apples. I can name them, but i won't. Other then that, this board is pretty damn knowledgeable. I used to think I knew basketball, then I come on here and feel like well, a noob, :lol:

What's all this "if" stuff? WE'RE GOING BACK TO THE DANCE PEOPLE! A couple rough weeks with some cumulative injuries and incorporating some new depth and the crazies come out of the wood work. One way or another, the starting 5 will still be here next season, they're the defending champs and on pace for another terrific record, why **** with that. Anybody who thinks this team needs to be "blown up" if we don't repeat should find a new sport or new team, because you don't deserve to root for this one. Go play 2k9 on rookie if you want to win all 82 games, other than that splash some cold water in your face and come back to reality.

On the Ray resigning thing...

I hope to God we do resign him - what are our other options for 2 guard? Don't kid yourselves about Dwayne Wade - the idea a player will sign for less in THIS economy? crazy. This team, to be frank, doesn't have enough trade assets to bring in a quality 2... and with Ray's style of play - I can't see THAT big of a drop off 3 years from now.
