Watching the Raptors hustle hard, and Balkman hasn't came in yet, I'm down with this thread

I'd trade Melo for Balkman in a heartbeat.

Good thread.

Balkman was absolutely dominant last night. See what happens when you put a player on the court that inspires effort? How can Kroenke sit there and watch this guy work harder than anyone in any professional sport and still allow Karl to make the terrible rotation decisions he does?

Can you imagine how much harder Balkman would be playing out there, if Balkman knew his hard work would be rewarded? Its amazing, the guy must know, all his effort means crap in the coach's eyes, yet he continues to put a ton in.

True. But some people who aren't lazy and actually try, do so because that's who they are, not because they expect to be rewarded for it. It just so happens that's not the majority of people in this country. That's why you got to love a guy like Balkman.

I would really like a

NENE
Anthony
Balkman
JR
Billups

line up next year...switch balkman and anthony to share the sf/pf position

Balkman can definitley be a dennis rodman type player.

JR-MJ
Melo-Pippen
Chauncey-Chauncey
Balkman-Rodman
Nene-Bill Wennington

Terrible comparison. Why does everyone always want to model their team after the Bulls? The Bulls had two great stars, with a bunch of role players surrounding them. Only problem is, no one is coming close to the player Jordan was, and you'd be hard pressed to find a #2 option as good as Pippen.....let alone how great they were defensively.

Because the Bulls won 6 championships...and the Nuggets... exactly. 2nd off it was a joke. Luc Longley started at center. 3rd. IMHO JR smith should be our #1 option. and melo being out #2, and at the rate Balkman is playing if we gave him 40minutes he might as well average 18 rebs a game.

Rodman, Kukoc aren't your everyday role players.

Thanks for letting me try to compliment the Denver Nuggets.

Balkman is the m-a-n and you guys got one heck of a steal. If only your coach could find a way to get him plentiful playing time. After all you guys are like 6-1 when he starts.

IDK.

Do you think making fun of posters who want to trade Melo is trolling?

Balkman is OK, but aren't you the guy who wants to trade Melo?

Seems to me that most Nugget fans disagree with you about trading Melo.

Are they trolling too?

Admittedly, I'm a Jazz fan. Just the same, we see posters like you all the time.

Trade Boozer was the call. Since then, 98% of Boozer haters have changed their tune.

Sorry, but I'm not surprised that Denver fans think you suck.

My bad.

As a Jazz fan, I have to say that I think trading Melo would be a mistake. As much as I dislike Melo, he's a stud and Denver would lose out if you traded him.

Does that make me a troll?

We can't let this petty banter keep us from the true purpose of this thread! Balkman is another tragic casualty of the fat man's reign of terror!
