I like it-- when I saw that they changed it I got kind of worried they might completely butcher it but I'm pleasantly surprised with the tweaks.

That's cool by me. No fundamental changes, and I like the eight stars motif.

I'm a fan of the block serif lettering.

And the 8 Division -> 8 stars works well...Fitting 32 would've been pretty hard.

Is this really something woorth changing? I guess when your players are causing so much trouble any good news is worth promoting.

Not bad. I don't really like the serif lettering either, though.
