Jazz vs. Heat 3/14/09 11:00 AM

Post#1 » by carrottop12 » Fri Mar 13, 2009 3:21 am

I fully expect Dwyane Wade to break Wilt's record of 100 points in one game on Saturday. He's beat the Jazz with 2 buzzer beaters since the last time the Jazz won down there. But at least the Jazz have almost always been able to be competetive in Miami.

Ming Kong you need to go to the game and make sure to represent us well.

Let's go Jazz, time to save this road trip!

The one game I don't forget was the one AK had a clean block on Wade at the end of the game and they called a foul on him and the Jazz ended up losing in OT. **** bull.
Hope the Jazz win tomorrow, but I wouldn't put money on it. Jazz just can't stop Wade.

I think Deron steps up to the challenge and takes DWade late in this game, and it is the difference. Wade is a bad matchup for Ronnie and CJ, and a really bad one for AK. Deron, otoh, is perfect size/speed combo to take him. Jazz by 7.

I agree with erudite-

Deron will have a big game and step up to the challenge. Even then, I expect this one to be a nail biter. Wade is an incredible ball player.

I remember that crap as well, it was a fadeaway 3 pointer where he fell to the ground and AK was nowhere close to even touching him. An absolute terrible call.

Why is the game so early? I have to wake up because the game here is on Sunday morning at 1 o'clock.

Oh well, I hope its worth watching. Go Jazz!

I hate matinee games. I have things that I want to do during the day, like play basketball while it's light out. This season's schedule sucks, seems like we have a lot less Friday/Saturday back to backs. Those are the best nights to have games, IMO.

Anyway, I'm calling it. Close game, and DW hits a shot at the buzzer to beat he Heat. And it goes right down, none of this bouncing on the rim ****. I remember the Heat looked good defensively last game. We got blocked a lot, kind of like Wednesday night. That can't happen again. WEIGHED will have about 40 in a loss.

I think the game all depends on how Deron plays. I mean, Wade will go off for 40 without question, but I think we can overcome it if Deron has a good night. If he gets 8 points 5 assists and a rebound we're going to get crushed but if he goes off for 25 points 15 assists and 7 rebounds we will win.

If its 5 on 5 instead of 5 on 8 the Jazz have a chance

I like the game plan early, go to Boozer. They aren't a fantastic low post defensive team, getting Booze involved early will pay dividends.

Memo has a fire in his belly. I'm really liking the way he's playing.

What's even more strange is the black socks and shoes with white jerseys. It just looks weird.
