OT: Cuse/UConn

Post#1 » by 6and33areGOD » Fri Mar 13, 2009 5:53 am

Did anyone see this game? That was one of, if not the craziest game I have ever seen. Six overtimes, Syracuse never leads until the final OT when they win the game. Flynn goes for 30 and 11 (I think) while playing well over 50 minutes on the second day of a back to back (and now has a game tomorrow), including hitting free throws to tie it up in the 5th OT. Price matching Flynn every step of teh way. It wasn't until UConn had all their big men but Adrien, as well as Price foul out that Cuse could pull away. I hope some of you watched this game, it was unreal.

I watched the whole game start to finish because my buddy is a big time UCONN fan. Definitely the best college bball game I have ever seen.

That was crazy. I laid down to go to sleep when it was the 2nd ot and I had to stay up and watch it. That Harris kid on Syracuse was dying out there, what'd he miss, like 5 layups in the last 2 ots?

Yeah same here. I was about to go to bed, especially when Uconn started pulling away, in the 3rd ot I believe, and cuse came back.

Once that kid hit the 3 to start off the 6th, I knew cuse was going to win it. It was their first lead in 25 + mins.
