Hey, Einstein, if CJ is overpaid, how much SHOULD he be making?

In other words, I expect absolutely no answer from you, ut_jazz.

So many critics claim overpaid, and yet they have no idea what anyone in the NBA is worth.

You probably think Deron is worth less than 3 Million a year.

AK needs more minutes but I'd like to see CJ play SG with AK at SF. I think a bench of Knight, Miles, Ak, and Millsap is greater than our current bench.

I agree, I think Korver fits in better with the starting line up. He's a better team defender which would mesh well with Deron and Brewer in the back court. Also if he got as many open looks at CJ does his three point percentage would sky rocket.

CJ on the bench would be forced to take less three's (he wouldn't get as many open looks) which would make him drive a little more and create, something he can do, and doesn't do enough of. It's also something Korver can't do.

Well here is your answer

D-will is worth every cent, no d-will we are looking at a lottery team

maybe overpaid is a bit harsh on CJ(he's still making less than korver)

but the point is CJ shouldn't be starting

I think CJ Miles is a very solid young SG with a bright future who is going to reap huge longterm benefits from playing such an important role on a contender at age 21. Had the guy gone to college for three years he'd have been a lottery pick in last years draft without a doubt in my mind.

While I don't think he'll be a tier one star SG he may very well develop into the Rip Hamilton type SG the Jazz have so desperately needed in the days since Horny was around.

That's the same thing I thought when I read that

The one thing that really caught my eye this year with Miles was when slowed down Kobe in SLC this year before the All-Star break. Miles has the athleticism & speed to be a great defender and he definitely has the offensive ability but he needs to get more consistent. If Miles would attack more like you guys brought up and didn't fade into obscurity in the 2nd half, I would say Millsap could replace Boozer with Miles picking up more of the scoring slack. Miles better become more consistent in the next year or so with Harpring on the fringe of knee replacement & the possibility of losing Korver.
