^At least getting a draft pick would give us another chip/young player...losing AGAIN to the Spurs would just be another kick to the balls...

They were talking and Gentry was showing him something on a piece of paper. A little unusual I thought, but not too much until I heard that Monta's agent was to meet with GS yesterday because they are still holding the option of voiding his contract ???????????????

i saw that. i was wondering the same thing.

I'd rather lose again to the Spurs than have it be where we don't deserve to even play them. How could anyone want that? There's no bigger kick to the balls than being the 9th seed.

I found it very interesting, it could be very innocent, but at the same time...............really makes you wonder what he was showing him on that paper..........possible line-up, contract figures ????????

I really doubt Gentry was engaging in open tampering with TV cameras running. That said, I hope he was. I'd love to steal half of GS's young guys

^picking at the Warriors bench would really help us get players who can play the style we want to play anyways. plus if we can get monta that would help for our future.
theres no such thing as defense in phoenix.

--- If we were willing to take Crawford, we could ... get some very favourable terms. Is he on one of those insane Isiah contracts?

i think he might be not to sure but i would consider getting crawford out of there. basically i think we shouldve went to the warriors for run-n-gun players the last couple years.

Denver, Utah, NO, they all present the same problem for us: Dominating PG! So, if we play Nash less than 25min each game, we have great chance to beat them all. :D

ahh... tsk tsk...

You're making the embarassing mistake of never watching games, paying attention to defensive match-ups and then structuring a post based on your flawed assumption that we play Nash on Paul, Billups and Williams.

We don't.

You might watch but you certainly are unable to actually SEE.
1. Nash is a mismatch anyone he covers. JRSmith? Miles or Brewer? Peterson? The only one he could cover is Bowen.
2. Whoever covers Paul, Billups and Williams is again a mismatch
3. It's a TEAM sport, if you have forgotten it my friend. Nash's def. weakness affects the whole team's defense even it we hide him from the PGs of the other team.

Quiz for you: When Nash sits, Suns defense is a lot better, is it true?

And what's the offense like when Nash is out? And what is our strength? Hmmmmm.....

You're completely going back on your already ridiculous argument. Nash doesn't cover the team's best perimeter player, it's usually Hill and Barnes. We get torched anyway.

BTW, if it's a team game as you say, then how come you're constantly riding Nash's nuts about defense?

Taking Nash out of the game because he sucks at defense is like not letting Pedro Martinez pitch because he commits defensive errors.

TEAM. Because with Nash in the lineup, no team can play good defense. The opposing team will always brutally exploit the fact of Nash being on the court for defense. Is this that hard to grasp!

To make it easy to understand....

Nash's offensive prowess >>> Nash's defensive lapses

I fully expect to hear that Barbosa is out for the rest of the season tomorrow...that's just how our luck is.
