well there is truth in what he says. AT THAT TIME. currently, this in my mind is the best ive seen kobe. and its also due to the depth. with our talent and depth, kobe doesnt rock and roll to the basket at every point, and doesnt have the need to. he currently dishes. passes. see the floor. addresses the scoring needs when need be. locks down on defense. but it wasnt always that way.

REMEMBER AT THAT TIME, he needed to go to the hoop and take everything and anything onto himself. kobe had to take over not just the 4th quarter, but the 1st, 2nd and 3rd. he even has said himself, he was immature. he was jackin up shots left and right. he was a whip cracker. he was unbearable as a teammate. he was very very harsh on his teammates. he was very difficult as a fellow teammate. all of those things were true, DURING SMUSH PARKERS TIME on the team. and kobe had to be, WE ABSOLUTELY SUCKED. so kobe had to be that way and blatantly take over whole games. so smush sayin that kobe was a terrible teammate, is not far from the truth. he was. but it was due to the fact that he had to be.

Watching Bill Parker as a Laker was an overrated experience as well, so I guess we're even.

He would have had a much better experience and a better win record if he could have been on the team without actually playing like... sitting in Sun's chair or possible mopping up the court. I'm sure it was hard to put up with a team that had himself on it.

This dude is borderline insane and I wouldn't take his words seriously now. He's proved time and again that he's not even good enough to fetch burgers for Kobe Bryant and dare he even talk about taking a dig at him.

The quote is all the more funny when you think that 2 years ago all the fans would say that the Lakers problems "Start and End with Smush Parker".

Kobe had every right to be hard on those guys those years, they were awful. They were gettting paid millions and most of them couldn't knock down a WIDE OPEN shot. Especially Smush, that guy infuriated me like no other. Kobe would get him wide open shots and it would be a flat brick off the front of the rim every time. I'd stop passing to him too. Then when he'd take it to the hole with all of his supposed 'legendary' street skills he would just turn it over or miss some crap shot. Aside form some gambling steals his D was awful. Nash and Parker abused him so bad it was not even funny. You think Jordan plays bad D... Serious, I don't care how much of an ass Kobe was in practice and whatnot, when he is going out there and working his ass off day in and day out and producing on the court EVERY night, you better suck it up and do the same. Its competitive desire, Jordan was the same way.

I mean come on, I could be successful along side Kobe. To be a PG in the triangle with all the attention on Kobe you have to 1. Play good D 2. Cut hard and swing the ball 3. Hit those WIDE OPEN shots that you get from the O. Thats it. But that's what was wrong, he couldn't shoot, his D sucked, and the only way he knew to play offense was to constantly have the ball and dribble around endlessly playground style. There is a reason why most And1 guys can't play in the league, they aren't smart enough and their games don't translate.

I seriously have Parker near the top of my list of worst players ever to play in the NBA. Dude could not even make the rotation in Miami's horrid squad last year and the Clips gave up on him. Let me repeat that, The Clippers gave up on him...

Smush Parker is a bum! He thinks because he's from New York, he's gods gift 2 basketball. He was one of the worst guards in laker history. I was glad the lakers didn't sign him back.

A little OT but Smush Parker is my Myspace friend and I was lurking his myspace when I saw this groupie that commented him. I clicked on her profile and found this pic:

Bill Parker is/was/and always will be trash. One of the worst players to ever put on an NBA jersey let alone a Lakers' jersey. He's just bitter. Bill had a lot of potential but he refused to put in the work necessary to become a competent rotation player and that is why Kobe probably didn't show him any love. Kobe is one competitve SOB and if you are not going to compete like him then he does not want you playing in the same league. I'm a very competitve person and there is nothing I love more than winning. However, when you're giving it your all and your teammates aren't doing the same, that will pi$$ the hell out of you and rightfully so. I almost hope Bill can find a team again just so he can guard Kobe for one possession and then completely get his @$$ raped.

This is a bunch of crap from Smush. When he was here, he was his own worst enemy. He has upside potential that he never reached & usually didn't play smart. That's an appeitite for destruction. Leave it alone & get over it smush. Maybe you could talk if you were on another team showing us up or something. Correct me if i'm wrong but I don't even think he's in the league anymore is he?

That's good stuff TM. I was thinking back & that was definately Kobe @ that time. Don't know how true it is but I heard 1 of the reasons he wanted Drew traded was he was on 1 of his whip cracking exhibitions & Drew said man "F" You! So if there's any truth to that I can see it & if we started losing again I think he would turn back into that guy, but nonetheless, that was a long time ago & smush needs 2 get over it & move on.

No he's not in the league, last played for the Clippers.

Anyhow, someone asked what is a "Smush Parker" earlier. A "Smush Parker" is knows as the douche-bags of douche-bags, this guy makes KG look like a Saint.

Smush was totally jealous of Kobe, he once said in an interview that he could do whatever Kobe could do. Total douche-bag, no you can't do what Kobe can do you douche. If you are reading this William, you are a complete douche-bag. He's a total hater and I could tell this guy looks like he sabatoged plays especially if it made Kobe look bad etc. He would totally put zero effort into plays in which Kobe was involved, ie Kobe asking for the ball, give a lazy ass pass to create a turnover, pass slow, pass in accurately, avoid Kobe if he's open etc. I swear, if he felt he wasn't getting the ball enough he would sabatoge plays or games. Then there was his stupid **** grin. This guy really believed he was on the same level as Kobe and thought he should have the ball and call the plays (just because you were the starting PG you don't call the shots on which Kobe is on you **** douche-bag).

Anyhow, even at games when your own crowd boos you, you must really have to suck, really. Lakers fans are known to support their team. The douche had the worst attitude ever, I also just wanted to smack that **** grin on his stupid **** face.

Gary Coleman thinks being a star actor was an overrated experience, too.
