Those are the only ones I really have a tough time seeing. The Knicks I expect to go for Teague if he's there as they currently have no PG slated for the 2011 roster. The Suns I don't think will pass on say Lawson, Collison, Maynor etc for Curry, who IMO will be nothing more then a spot up shooter in the pros. The TWolves pick isn't bad, but there's no way they pass on Jordan at that pick, they badly need a defensive center next to Jefferson and he's the only one in the draft. As for the Mavs I expect them to go point guard or two here. Williams, Maynor, Flynn or Turner would all be players I could see. With Dirk and Bass Blair isn't really needed.

My problem with Teague to the Knicks is that I don't really see Teague as a true point, more of an undersized 2 who was forced to play point out of necessity. If he can't make it at the point in the NBA, then IMO a true 7 foot C with an offensive game would be a lot more valuable, especially since the Knicks have no C slated for the 2009 roster (let alone 2011). I could see Teague (and I wouldn't be surprised) but right now I just think Mullens has more upside and fills a bigger need for the Knicks.

14. Suns - Stephen Curry, Davidson

The Suns I don't think will pass on say Lawson, Collison, Maynor etc for Curry, who IMO will be nothing more then a spot up shooter in the pros.

Totally agree with you about Curry, but everyone else seems to have him pegged as a lotto pick so I stuck him in at #14, especially since the Suns would be able to have him learn PG from Nash. Lawson might be a better pick though, since he's more of a true point.

18. T'Wolves (from Heat) - Darren Collison, UCLA

The TWolves pick isn't bad, but there's no way they pass on Jordan at that pick, they badly need a defensive center next to Jefferson and he's the only one in the draft.

Although the Wolves could use a PG like Collison IMO (he'd give them a more experienced hand who can defend and run an offense well) I totally didn't even think about Jordan. Good call.

21. Mavericks - DeJuan Blair, Pitt

As for the Mavs I expect them to go point guard or two here. Williams, Maynor, Flynn or Turner would all be players I could see. With Dirk and Bass Blair isn't really needed.

I picked Blair because he was the closest thing to a backup C on the board, since all they have right now is Ryan Hollins. Also, Bass is a FA so they might be better served in the long term by letting him walk and drafting a cheaper replacement. They already have Kidd, Terry and JJ Barea capable of playing the point, so unless they let those guys walk they're probably set at the 1.

Re: Clark, I had them drafting Teague for a while but it seems like he would be largely redundant with Foye (as would Jennings with Telfair). They seem set at PF and C for the future, but anywhere else looks up for grabs (from an outsider's perspective). Who would you have them take?

He's got impressive size and athleticism, which is mainly how he sneaks into the first round. He's definitely a project though. The Lakers have enough depth all over to take the time necessary to develop him, and he could be a good PF/C off the bench for them in the future. That's why I had the Lakers take him.

With our own pick, assuming the top 4 are gone or not in the draft(Griffin, Rubio, Thabeet, and Harden), I draft Tyreke Evans. He's a reach, sure, but I think after the tourney you're going to see a whole new view of him and it'll be very positive. None of the other options are even slightly attractive for the Wolves. If we don't take Evans, and if he's in the draft, I'd take Vasquez from Maryland with the Boston pick. The Wolves need a big point to pair with Foye.

If the draft falls like this I wouldn't be surprised to see the Wolves reach (or more likely trade down) for Evans or Aminu. Mullens at 6 wouldn't be terrible, either.

any team could use an athletic wing who can play multiple positions. who cares if he cant shoot the 3, the 30th pick in the draft is likely the 11th or 12th man. werent the cavs said to be targeting ariza? he's not a great 3pt shooter either.
