The Rules

Here's the deal - after each win, we'll have a player of the game thread. You post the top 3 performers (1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place). The top-3 vote-getters will receive points...

1st place = 3pts
2nd place = 2pts
3rd place = 1pt

At the end of the season, I'll tally up the point totals and put it into a thread. We should have a good idea of who was the most valuable player, at least according to Wizards fans. :D

The poll winner is for posterity only. It has no affect on the recorded winner. If you want your vote to count, post the top-3 performers.

AJ
DMac
Blatche

It would be nice if one of these Blatche learned how to stop picking up stupid fouls so that he could play more consistently.

1-DMAC 5pts (2-6) / 8rebs / 9asts / 3blks / 1stl / 39mins

DMazing was the engine that made this thing go. 9 assists ? The guy is playing PG better then anyone else on the team. 8 rebounds.... 3 blocks.... That is an awesome line. If he would put a 12 next to the pts, those are amazing stats. Kid needs to add a 3 ball, and I think he will. CB jr with hops

2 - Blatche - 16pts (8-12) / 6rebs / 1ast / 3blks / 34mins / +11

Simply efficient. He got some rebounds which is really important for him to do. The shot from outside is really coming along nicely. I like it when he just goes up. Nice to see some of those blocks return. But with the blocks game the fools. Not so much a problem if we have depth. If he could only jump a little better he would have an even higher level he could reach.

3 - Twain - 30pts (8-21) / 9rebs / 3ast / 2stls / 41mins

Nice line. He fought hard all night. Nice to see him a SF. Loved the "T"

Honorable mentions

Nick Young - 12pts (5-10) / 1reb / 2asts / 24mins / +6

This is the missing piece for this team. Reliable efficient numbers from Nick of the bench. Did you see the 2 back to back catch and pops from the top of the key. Exactly what I have been waiting for. I'll take another rebound on that line so he has 2 and 2 and say give me that every night. Tapps seems to be getting throw to him finally.

Dixon - 18min 3-5FG 2-43Ball 1-1FT 1RB 2asst 2steals 9 pts +7

Nice game from Dixon.

Oh, and that opening play DSong to DMAC was awesome.
