utah and new orleans found GREAT future hall of fame point guards in the draft. That will turn around any team! if we can draft a chris paul player then yes maybe we can make playoffs but there are none of that caliber player in this draft, not ne point guard would do.

The Clips are no better than us, OKC is no better now, neither are the Warriors, TWolves, or Memphis. We have a chance if we get a PG, the team is playing well we just have no closer. I am realistic. Lakers, Spurs, Jazz, Rockets, Suns, Blazers are the sure playoff teams this year but the rest is a crapshoot.

Nuggets are also a sure playoff lock

LAL, SA, Den, NO, Hou, Uta, Por = 7 teams

Dal, Pho - depends if they decide to self destruct this summer or not
OKC - is better than us now, and will be better than us next year. OKC IMO will be a top 3 team in the league in not many years.
LAC - They may be playing horribly, but their talent level is just so much greater than ours it's not really close. Baron, Randolph, Camby, Kaman, Thornton, Gordon is much better than (KMart, Thompson, Hawes, Nocioni, Garcia, '09 1st)

Ya, if we can draft a Lebron or Dwight or Duncan we'd be turned around instantly too.

They care less than any team I have ever seen. These guys have been playing better recently than the rest of the season, really.

Come on mitch...did you not see the game yesterday? We got beat fairly easily by the second worst team in the league...a team that is a game and a half ahead of the Kings. Yes, the final score was close, but that has more to do with the Wiz taking the 3rd quarter off rather than the Kings really doing much to try to win the game. We're also taking about a team who has yet to win a game against the East (I believe that may be a record). The team is on pace to have the 14th worst record in NBA history and to be one of the 50 worst teams (by record) since the NBA started...in fact if we win only 1 more game we'll be tied with last year's Heat team at the 11th worst record slot. There's really no reason to sugar coat it...this current Kings team is down right putrid.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

The final score is the final score. I didn't think Washington took the 3rd off, I thought we just played pretty well in the 3rd. Regardless, it was hardly a "fairly easy" loss.

And if we hadn't been playing better recently, I would agree. But the fact is that the team has been competitive pretty consistently recently. Is it a good team right now? Absolutely not. I'm just saying that it's not fair to say the team is far below the rest of the worst teams in the league. We're in the bottom of the barrel with a few others. Are we the worst team? Quite possibly. But that doesn't mean it's not even close. Also, while the 0-for record against the East looks bad, a loss is a loss. I mean we're 6-4 in our division this year, if you can believe that. I'm not saying that we're not the worst team, just that a Jefferson-less Minnesota, Memphis, the Wizards and Clippers are by no means unquestionably superior.

Jefferson-less Minnesota
Arenas-less Wizardsd
Kaman-less Clippers
Beno-less Kings

Hmm, for some reason, it might just be me, but one of those players doesn't really seem like they'll be able to help turn around a team....can't exactly put it on who it is....hmmmm

Final score is the final score. Moot argument. Because the kings outplayed them in the 3rd, thats a slap against the kings? Huh? Down right putrid, yes, but unarguably the worst team in the league-NO WAY. Arguments can be made that the 4-8 worst teams in this league could beat each other on any given night. Not as much seperation in this league as you think. We took the East best Cavs to OT, we beat the Lakers on and on. So no we can not be beat by "the school of the blind", thats just a terrible analogy.

Arenas and Haywood being out of the Wizards lineup are givens for right now. Yes, they're better with those players, but with the team as it's currently, set, it's pretty debatable.

And the Clips weren't much better with Kaman, and that's far from their problem. He's not the kind of guy that is going to change a team's attitude, and that's what's wrong with the Clippers right now.

Thats what Im saying, the 4-8 worst teams could go .500 against each other if they just played each other every night.

Return to Sacramento Kings
