Re: Official Yahoo Fantasy League
I'm guilty as well, but so far it hasn't made a difference. My team hasn't done any worse than it did when I was checking. My team is simply that bad. I don't stand a snowball's chance in hell of winning, but to avoid being a dick I'll start making changes again after the all-star break.

Re: Official Yahoo Fantasy League
Luongo going down for an extended period of time has really hurt my chances at the playoffs. I went from 3rd to 11th during his absence. Now with him back in the line up I have about 7 weeks left to make a miraculous climb to the 6th seed... it's going to be a difficult task to say the least.
Go Raps!!

Re: Official Yahoo Fantasy League
I jumped from 10th to 6th in a week and squeaked into the playoffs.
I am rather shocked.

I got the second seed. Pleased considering my goaltending at the beginning of the year was terrible.

I'm glad someone benefitted from my team's dead-on impersonation of the N.Y. Mets.

Re: Official Yahoo Fantasy League
What a DISASTEROUS year for me in the league this year.
My first season to not make the playoffs and now the best I can do is finish 11th. Horrible, horrible, horrible!
The two decisions that destroyed my season:
1. Taking Bryzgalov over Backstrom for my first goalie. I drank the koolaid and actually thought Phoenix was gonna be a good team this year.
2. Not picking up Steve Mason when he was available. I was gonna, but then Rondalee goes and takes him just before I was gonna pick him up.
If my goaltending the whole year wasn't so bad, I might have made the playoffs, but I made too many dumb choices this year to be able to compete. Oh well, I'm just gonna pretend this season never happened and hope next year is better.
Goodluck to everyone in the playoffs.

I was stunned when I logged on just now and found out I was in the final.

Well, I wasn't that surprised. It was back and forth the whole week.

Yeah, but you had something like a 7-4 lead going into Sunday.

We should create a keeper league.

I know what you're thinking. We're in the middle of a city, what's a hawk doing there?

I'd be down with that, just a matter of making the rules for drafting and so forth
