Kings will go down by 10+ in the opening couple of minutes, will wake up late and end up losing by 3...

and everyone will think that they are "looking competitive".

I don't agree. This one from the beginning of the 4th quarter on was not competitive. We did not "look competitive" in the fourth.

Another strong game from Cisco. More turnovers and fouls than points is not earning that long term contract.

Pretty amazing that even in this game no Diogu or Simmons. While the heck were Spencer and Beno out there that late??? On a back to back no less, this team HAS to beat a team in the east. The breaking of terrible record after terrible record has to stop now! But just once please! ;)

31 points on 14 shots (With 5 rebounds).
Lets see how that gets spun to be another horrible game by Martin.

I am hoping there will be no Natt next year his constant fear of JT getting a 3rd foul in the 2nd quarter is killing me. He got his 2nd foul after 8 minutes into the game and didn't come back until 3 minutes left. He was on fire and was 2 of his first 3 shots with 6 points and Natt's overreaction put the fire out sitting over 12 minutes and only scored 7 the rest of the game. Way to suck the life out of the bigs who are the key to the princeton offense.

There is no way on earth the Maloofs bring him back he is too panicky. That was why Adelman was so good, he never panicked (even Theus didn't but he wanted to run the triangle). Byron Scott never panics, Popovich never panics, Jerry Sloan never panics, Eddie Jordan doesn't panic either. Natt is a world class panicker. I am trying to think if Avery would be a good fit with JT and Hawes. I think a stud PG, Avery might be interested with this talented young group.

Horford 23 points, 12 boards, 6 assists...

If you said Horford you would of been close..

I was at the game and i like Hawes a lot. Can't believe he is only 20. In about 2 years if not the next year you guys can run your offense through him consistently.

Thompson is a nice athletic kid, but i think he will be a role player in future for you guys.. He got manhandled by Horford who is not that good offensive player..

Martin got some skinny legs, but he can play..

Hawes/Griffin frontcourt is something to look for if i was a Kings fan...

Good to see Reef back in Atl

SO long!

JT (13/8 in 28 minutes) had less points than Hawes (14/5 rebounds in 38 minutes) but played 10 less minutes, if JT had as many minutes as Hortford (23/12/6 in 33 minutes) he was on pace for 10 rebounds. Atlanta's coach got 13 touches for each big and 9 assists. JT would have put up 20/10 against Horford if Natt had a clue on how to use the guy but he got only 9 touches. He scored on 2 of his first 3 touches but Natt yanked him and cost him 10 minutes and he finished with 13 instead of 18 or 20. The offense here goes through the 4/5, they distribute the ball once we have settled in but Natt is too undisciplined and impatient with the offense. He is not really consistant in the big guy touches, there has been not enough games this year where he got the ball to both big guys with a lot of touches and they both got some assists. This has been the story of the season, little things win and lose games.

We have a much bigger weakness than JT, Atlanta's PG scored 18/7 in while our PG scored 8/6 in equal minutes and you are worried about our bigs?

I agree with you that we need to get more touches to the bigs, and that our biggest weakness is center, but did you watch the game? JT looked weak compared to Horford. He got bullied all night. JT will never be a dominate offensive force because he is only a slightly above average athlete for a big man, not a great shooter, not a great slasher, not the biggest and strongest, not the best passer, not the best post moves, not the smartest, not the best defender... what Im trying to say is he has no niche. There is nothing that makes him stick out. That is the definition of a role player.

The hawks guy gave good unbiased analysis of our team, there is no need to have to defend Jason Thompson, or anyone. He is just saying what he saw from an outsider looking in. If we expect JT to be a star in this league, then we are totally wrong and will only be disapointed in the end. The difference is Blake Griffin is Super star quality, Jason Thompson is a borderline lottery pick. Not to diss the guy, hes a king and I support him, but he will never be a star.

You must not have seen the game before he had a fantastic touch off the glass with turnarounds in the post. He has a great first step and can get to the basket at will. What most players their first year don't realize is how good they (and some never realize) how great they are and that they can score at will. He is a good free throw shooter, gets to the line a lot. This guy is a stud and will be much better next year. If Natt doesn't screw up again with his minutes he puts up a 20/10. You can hate on the guy but we need a PG who won't choke so we can win games to make up for the other chokers on our roster.

Would like to see our big men concentrate on getting more defensive rebounds. Hawes and Thompson combined for 4 defensive rebounds in 66 minutes. So far they have been doing well on the offensive boards, especially Thompson (2.6 per game).

On that note I think if we wind up with a PF and a PG (in either order) in the draft I would like us to take a legit 7 footer with our second round pick or somewhere in the draft, as we currently have no real backup center.
