You honestly believe that players don't make phone calls during half time? Really?

Debit's from the rotary phone age. He still marvels at "facsimile machines".

If he didn't f up, Skiles wouldn't have had to talk to him about it.

I consider this a common sense issue. Was it a horrible thing to have done? No and that's why he wasn't fined. But it wasn't a very bright move to make during a game and that's why there's now a rule in place and why Villanueva got a good talking to about it.

Let me start by saying I don't condone what CV did, but I also don't think it's a big deal at all.

But I don't think it should only be looked down upon if it was a rule broken, that is pretty black and white. If he had pissed all over Luke Ridnour's gym bag, technically there would be no rule about that in the team handbook I'm guessing, but it would still be frowned upon. An extreme example, but just saying.

The Bucks should be thanking CV. They haven't gotten this much publicity since the 2001 playoffs.

It is amazing how much attention this minor subject has raised.

i get what you guys are saying, but it's hard to believe that players don't normally have their phones while sitting at their lockers, and if they have their phones then what are they doing with them? playing tetris?

i guess to me it depends on what normally happens in the locker room, of which i have no idea.

and if anyone should piss on ridnour's stuff, it should be ramon

I think a lot of it has to do with the disbelief that an athlete would be posting on a message board, social network site, whatever during a game. The common answer I've gotten from people who I've talked to about this is "Did he really do that?" Nobody is outraged by it; most are just stunned a player would even do something like that.

There was no ban on tweeting because I'm guessing nobody thought a player would be doing it during a game. So it likely never came up in any discussions about team protocol. Now that it's been a done, a rule has been put in place.

Do those of you who have no problem with tweeting during halftime think that it would be OK for a player to make a call on his cell phone during halftime to call his mother to chat?

I'm sorry, but this whole "tweeting" term just sound ridiculous to me. It sounds more like something meth junkies would be doing after a week long binge, not something normal everyday human being do.

The media isn't allowed into the locker room at halftime so there aren't any halftime interviews conducted there. Any interviews with team personnel are done outside the locker room and done with the team's consent. I don't believe the Bucks allow their players to be interviewed at all. That would likely change if ABC, ESPN or TNT covered them and wanted a halftime interview but you won't see Tom Enlund interviewing Sessions at halftime of a game anytime soon.

And it's not just because he'd be making his fourth trip to the media room's buffet line.

Well maybe that's part of the reason.

i meant, do players grab their phones when sitting at their lockers after the coach is done talking?

if this is seen as worse than a text message then i think it's dumb

That sums it up pretty well. I like the 'focus on the game' posts. It was a game-related tweet.

I think people are just upset that SkyNet is about to drop the bomb.

How can Gilbert play video games at halftime?

Isn't halftime only like 15 minutes? wtf?

You know this twitter account of CV's might help make the off season much more interesting during free agency. I wonder how much he shares during that whole period.

I think it would have been pretty funny if CV would have said something about some "Honey eyeing me up 4 rows back the first half. I got to get at that after the game."

It actually is my real name. I'm not sure if that's why I got the job but having that name had always been a bit of a burden. All of my friends in school were named Tim or Dave or Eddie. I was Bango. Then one day I saw an advertisement in the local paper asking for people to try out to be the Bucks' mascot. I didn't think much of the job. After all, have you seen Todd Day play once? Why in God's name would I want to see that up close 41 times a year? Anyway, I was going to pass on the job until I saw the mascot's name.

Bango.

It was like a light came on above me. Actually I was sitting under a lamp at the time so a light literally was on above me. I tried out for the job showed I could dunk, scream out "Go Bucks Go" and drive a motorcycle on a basketball court. I was immediately hired.

Life has been great ever since.
Now wait just a minute here...I loved Todd Day's game! He was a bit of a knucklehead at the end but...he had the total package but could not stay out of the clubs or off Water St.

I thought Todd Day was a big time talent just like I missed on Reece Gaines. In fact, Todd Day and Reece Gaines are perhaps the two most biggest disappointments as Bucks players I can remember
who I thought had all the makings of stars here.

They join Jerald Honeycutt, Jeff Grayer and Tito Horford as those I predicated greatness of and they never made the cut...I have not missed on many. But those I did...

Two guys who we drafted and then immediately dealt Bobby Phills, Terry Mills and Alex English were setbacks as well...

But please, LEAVE....TODD DAY ALONE! LOL....

Atleast we were lucky enough to trade Todd Day for Sherman Douglas.
