OT: ASU Asian Bball Tournament - Players needed

Hey guys,

So every semester, the Asian students at ASU hold a basketball tournament, and this semester I want to put a team of 7-8 guys together. However, since the tournament is over Easter weekend (April 11-12), I am having difficulty finding players who are available. So far I only have 2 people who are available that entire weekend. If you are available that weekend would be interested in joining my team, please let me know so that I can give you the details of the tournament and meet you so we can ball together a little bit before the tournament.

General Requirements:
-Must be Asian (not my rule - official tournament rule)
-Must have reliable transportation to Tempe, AZ
-Must have solid understanding of college basketball rules
-Preferably will have prior experience playing organized basketball on some level
-The taller you are, the better - but I do need guards as well

I didn't even know that there were 7-8 asians in Arizona let alone enough for a whole tournament!

i know a whole bunch of asians including myself that would want to play. unfortunately i dont go to ASU. is that gonna be a problem??

Just out of interest, what qualifies as being asian? Do you have to be born in Asia or do you just need Asian decendancy?

Obviously I can't play because i'm in Australia, but my mother was born in Indonesia, and her mother in Singapore, and so on. By tournament rules would I be eligible to play (even though I look pretty darn white)?

Haha I don't think so... based on what I've observed in the past from the tournament, you must be Asian by ethnicity/heritage rather than nationality or the country you were born in. I personally think that the rule is kind of stupid, but that's just the way it is I guess.

Just like they have BET (Black Entertainment Television) but if someone were to create a White Entertainment Television network. That wouldn't fly at all.
