# Celtics forward Leon Powe has a sprained right knee and will miss 2-3 weeks, Celtics coach Doc Rivers just announced.
# Guard Ray Allen (hyperextended elbow) is out tonight for the Celtics. Allen injured the elbow during last night's game with the Bulls. Stephon Marbury will start in Allen's place.
# Rajon Rondo (sprained ankle) will start at point guard tonight. Rivers said the sprain was not a severe one, and that Rondo is moving well.
# Forward Glen Davis (sprained ankle) will not only play tonight, he will start for the Celtics at power forward. Davis said before the game that his playing status is unrelated to the other injuries the team has sustained, and that he could start anyways.
# Guard Tony Allen had the cast removed from his thumb and said he can start practicing in 2/3 weeks.
# Kevin Garnett (right knee) will make the road trip to San Antonio with the team, though his status for Friday night's game is not yet known.
"I wouldn't count on [him playing] this weekend," said Rivers. "But we'll see."
# Forward Brian Scalabrine (concussion) said he suffered a relapse last week, but that he is currently on a program to increase his strength little-by-little.
