Barry is most definitely pro-Celtics. Always been. Grew up a huge fan of the 80's team. No reason for any Celtics fan to dislike him.

It didn't help when he predicted us to win the lottery though.

What happened when we drafted him? Was he a tool?

The Boston Celtics yesterday traded guard JON BARRY, their first-round draft choice, to the Milwaukee Bucks for power forward ALAA ABDELNABY. Boston also gave up its second-round draft choice in 1995. The trade helps fill the Celtics' need for a rebounder and solves the problem of what to do with Barry. Barry, a son of Hall of Famer RICK BARRY was the 21st player drafted this year but never played a game for the Celtics because of a contract impasse.

The real crime is that we had to take Alaa Abdelnaby in return...I remember that guy, man did he suck!
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

Ok, so Mr. Barry might be nice to the Celtics when he's writing about them, but did you hear the statements he made during the game last night? "The Celtics are not a playoff team without Kevin Garnett"

He looked at our 6-6 record without KG, and said, 'not a playoff team'. Does he realize that we played 2 of those games without Rondo? Most without our backup starting PF, Some without our backup backup starting PF, and the last one without our backup backup backup starting PF. If we only had 1 injury throughout this and it was to KG, we'd have a much better record. Our poor record is more a result of the other injuries piling up on top of KG going down.
