Oh there was clearly contact the question is whether their should have been a shooting foul because of it.

And yes, Howard was in the lane all night (and they should have been called). The problem is that since they let him abuse the rule all night why did they call one there?

they just showed the clip on sportscenter...he was in there for a good 4 to 4 1/2 seconds - you have to call that

the foul on lee wasnt a foul and i really hate that the game was kind of decided like that, but at least z was there to clean up the play had the foul not been called - so either way points were going on the board for the cavs

i saw the clip and ok he was in there for more than 3, but the thing that bothers me is that the league clearly favors lebron. do you think if that was lebron in there for more than 3 they would have called it? not a chance because this is lebrons league. shaq has been in there for 10 seconds+ on numerous occasions and no one said a word. i dont understand how you can make a call like that with the game on the line because what advantage did we get from dwight being in there? none so if we're not getting an advantage why make the call? its the same thing with traveling aka "crab dribble." they dont call it unless the player gains an advantage.
I live rent free in your head. You know who you are :D

Not changing this sig until Magic win a championship. Started 6/26/2015.

Now you guys are just being silly. Fact is, there really should have been numerous 3 second calls. It's not as thought LeBron operates in the paint enough that the league would even be able to call him for 3 seconds but I will say one thing Howard fouls all the time, when he's going right through them trying to get inside for the layin/dunk and when he's setting picks (moving picks galore).

Yeah, the league favors LeBron... That's why the league took away his historic triple double... Is why they let him win the championship in 2007, is why they took the MVP away from him in 2006, is why they left him off the first team all nba in 2007, is why they changed the all star voting to say he had a million more than Dwight this year, blah, blah, blah... They just can't get enough LeBron...

Just quit whining dude...

You want to complain, complain at you dumb ass coach for only getting Dwight one damn touch in the 2nd half... Complain at Dwight for being as soft as tissue and not DEMANDING the ball on the block, and leading his team like a dominant big man should...

Magic fans whine about everything.. First it was not getting enough respect early in the year, and now the league favors LeBron... Complete joke...

Lee stayed down on the ground the entire time and kept himself vertical. You dont call a foul on Lee at all.

That call didn't determine the outcome, but it was clearly incorrect.

EDIT: Also, its pointless to argue about 3 in the key calls. Basically you could call it every other time down the floor on teams. Thanksfully, they dont.

EDIT II: Also, its not good to generalize all Magic fans based on a few here and there. You're just giving your own fanbase a bad name when you do that. Most Magic fans have given Lebron props for what he did last night, but we're also confident we can beat your team. That's just evident with the way we've played against the Cavs over the past handful of years.

Last night was an entertaining game; We can all admit that. Good luck the rest of the season. I really do like Lebron. He's a hell of a talent.

My DVR didnt record the game last night for some reason so I just got a chance to watch the replay this afternoon. What exactly are Magic fans whining about? Howard was clearly in the paint for at least 4 and more like 5 seconds, you cant do that. Lee also clearly bumped LeBron on his shot attempt and it was a foul. Just because they dont always call those things doesnt mean the whistle shouldnt be blown.

As many have pointed out already. Blame your coach for not getting Dwight touches, blame Rashard for not being able to hit anything, blame Rafer Alston for being an idiot, but the refs? Seriously? In a game like that? Props to the Magic fans who have indeed placed the blame where it should go, because I know there are a lot of them, but it sure seems as though the more vocal ones are always looking for someone to blame. Its a shame, because they've got a hell of a team down there.

SVG lost the game for the Magic. Dwight Howard is an ANIMAL!!!! He easily could put up 30 a night if they gave him the ball on the block. SVG runs the offense (so I've heard), so he is to blame for the failure to win last night.

fans of teams see plays differently and thats just the way it is..as a magic fan, i watched the foul over and over and dont see lee leaving his feet.. and i see lebron initiating the contact but putting his head/body into lee.. doesnt matter..

anyway. i'm ok w/ the loss. i didn't expect us to catch the cavs..all i want is to avoid detroit in the first round..so i've just been worrying about the boston and detroit games..

i dont believe it was a foul either but it didnt determine the outcome of the game. if no foul is called, then z is right there for the tip-in. all the foul did was give the magic someone or something to blame the loss on instead of blaming it on themselves

Lee was the one who iniciated the contact after LeBron's fake. He basically ran into LeBron. The foul call was legit, I really don't understand what all the fuss is about.

It was a great game. Both teams are also great. This is not a complete joke, Lebron is favored by the league but that doesn't matter. The Cavs played one hell of a game, and I'm impressed with how they hold down their home court. Can't wait for the next game.
