Trade for Jay Cutler?

Now that Cutler and the Broncos appear to be on the outs, what do you think the 49ers would give in a trade to get him, and would you make that deal?

I imagine the 49ers would at the very least have to part with the #10 pick, I'm not sure what else we would have to part with to get him. Cutler is a young QB who has shown signs of being great, he won't come cheap.

I think the 49ers should definitely make a play for him, I'm not sure how high I'd be willing to go to get him, but for the right price I'd go for it. I've heard reports that we aren't interested in him though, not sure if they are true or not.

It would have to be 10th pick and either Manny Lawason or Parys Haralson . Only reason is their both studs and the new D coord. is famous Mike Nolan.

With Jimmy at the 2 spot this lineup (along with depth) has the potential to be the best since the Jordan/Pippen days easy.

The 10 I can see, the 10 plus Lawson or Haralson is significantly excessive

I think its way to much. I just see the Broncos over hyping Cutler. It would be nice to have a QB w/ a down the field arm. Niners are a run first team and Cutler is coming from a system that let him throw out of the shotgun too much. So i dont like the fit.

I would give them anyone for Cutler. Hill and Smith are backup qb's and if we could add Cutler we are going to the playoffs for sure.

Cutler is off the table now.

Its been reported that Cutler is going to the Chicago Bears for #18, next year's 1st rounder, this year's 3rd, and QB Kyle Orton. I'll find a link if I can.

EDIT: Here's the link http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4037373

Broncos give up 3rd rounder this year.

Niners couldn't have nor should have offered a better package than that. The Broncos did well. It wouldn't surprise me to see them try to trade up for Sanchez. The Niners might be a good trade partner for that.
