Kings end EC drought tonight...Kings/Knicks

Post#1 » by Smills91 » Fri Mar 20, 2009 11:38 am

Knicks will be hosting the Kings tonight at the MSG. I'll be there, therefore I'm predicting a Kings W. I'm in the big apple on Spring Break and it coincided with a Kings game! So it'll be a fun night tonight!

Kings are 0-29 vs. the ECF and I think tonight, against a team that doesn't play any defense either, we come out swingin' and pull out a W.

GO KINGS!

Hawes has had too many bad games in a row to have another bad one. he bounces back and dominates the knicks. kings have to win even tho nate goes for 40.

Umm...wow...I didn't think it was possible for any team to play worse than us.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

hawes is a savage. 13, 15 and 5 so far. it says 0 blocks, but that must be a mistake. hawes is too good to have 0 blocks. nice to see the roles reversed and kings blow out someone else

Freakin' DirecTV lied to me!!! They said Jeopardy was on but it's the Kings! We're finally beating an EC team and I didn't even know the game was on. I'm thinking a lawsuit for incorrect Guide information.

Just a great game over all, and it's great to no longer be a threat to set that ugly record we were on our way towards. Granted the Knicks played like hot garbage and there were too many turnovers, but still.

Our starters played especially well, overcoming a weak bench. Everybody really filled their conventional roles well. Kevin scored very well, Beno ran things as well as he has all year, Spencer and Jason both really played like real bigs--both defending and rebounding (not to mention each having a good scoring game), and Cisco did a little of everything.

Guess i was wrong....i love being wrong now these days. I really do not want us to have the worst record! Because that would mean we'd definately have the #4 locked up. And that sucks! Im all for the #2!! Which spells Rubio!! GGaaaddd did the knicks play like a first game expansion team

I am as gung ho about needing a top pick as anyone but we needed that one. Oh yeah, definitely.

Its nice to win one game agaisnt an Eastern Conference team. Its also pay back for the game in Arco when the Knicks pounded the Kings. The Knicks forgot this is the NBA and you still have to play the game to get a win....

You know watching the Kings is way more fun since the trades. I am thinking with another season of maturing on the current young group and the addition of draft picks could turn the Kings into a team that may sneak up on teams next season. A team that when it executes can make for long nights for the opposing veteran teams that were hoping for a "night off".

The fact that we haven't seen him today makes me think the NY fans weren't too happy with their team getting stomped and took it out on a guy wearing a Kings jersey.

Great game! Haha, been traveling a lot without access to the net. It was a fun game for sure. Lots of trash talking before the game, the Kings shut them up and QUICKLY. Knick fans for the most part were ignorant, yet surprisingly cordial. They were all more pissed off at the Knicks. The guys next to me didn't even know who Kevin Martin was. They thought Garcia was our best player, nice guys though. Guys behind me were pretty pissed though, lol, but they couldn't say anything the way we kicked their A's.

Super weird smills, I was at the game as well! And there were definatly some pissed off new yorkers, but they were pretty civil overall. I actually sat in front of Beno's childhood friends who were visiting from Slovenia for that game! That was pretty cool to get to talk to them, and I think that it helped out with Beno, cause he was on fire.
