Great game there fellas..Your guys proved why you are the best.. the loose D they played during the first half was disturbing but y'all won 54 games for a reason. My young Bulls didnt have the firepower or the defense to keep up when you guys went on a run. Hopefully one day we get to this level ourselves.

P.S. What are your opinions on D.Rose?

It ain't going to happen. He is what he is. Considering the fact that he finishes at such a great percentage and rarely takes a bad shot, I'll take the odd look that's going to get stuffed back in his face.
Good post Sedale but you do get what I am saying right? I'm not asking him to turn into a banger I'm asking him to do it when necessary. Shaq was a good comparison because if left open he would shoot that 15 footer & make it sometimes but the point is if you left him he wouldn't hesitate. Finishing strong should be fundamental for a player of Pau's caliber by now. Memorey should help you if nothing else, like this, "Hmmmmmm when I go soft I either get blocked or no call. When I go strong, I usually get the finish & or foul" Pretty simple to me.

Good game sdeezy. As far as Rose goes, he's a legend in the making. He's 1 of the few that came in the league with that status already right at great if he keeps playing like this & I don't throw that word "greatness" around to often, but he's right there.

No, I get what you're saying AB. I'm not trying to say I enjoy it when one of his little floaters gets tossed. I don't. There's no question he's got some gimp to his game.

It's just that I've gotten a good handle on who he is and how he plays, and I think the positives he brings to the table (high skill level, versatility, great efficiency, good passing, solid rebounding, underrated defense) vastly outweigh the negatives (weak physical presence, tendency to get manhandled, poor shotblocking).

I mean, I didn't even think he played all that well, and he still put up 23 and 10 on 9 of 17. That's a solid, solid night, and he clearly could have played better. Especially on defense, but just about the whole team sucked on that end in the first half so I'm not going to blame that on him.

On an unrelated note, how does someone like Vinny Del Negro get the opportunity to coach a multi-million dollar NBA team? I rarely point the finger at coaches -- players win games, not guys on the sidline -- but he flat-out sucks. That's about the second or third time this year I've seen him go into complete vapor lock during a decisive run. I know he doesn't have much to work with, but still...do something.

as far as the bulls fan that asked about drose, i really feel that in a couple of yrs he'll be the best pg in the league. he's basically chris paul but stronger and with the ability to attack the rim. he's going to be unstoppable once he refines his game and gets the proper threats around him like cp3 has.

Loved the killer instinct tonight - except it came from behind. We felt we had a chance, saw the wound, smelt the blood, attacked.

D-Rose, to that poster, like I said before, he's going to be a multiple All Star player very soon. He came into the NBA "NBA Ready," with his body. Also, a lot of young players have bad habits. He doesn't. He doesn't settle for the jumper too much or anything like that. His body is/was NBA ready and he's got a great head on his shoulders on and off the court. The intangibles are there, the rest is up to him and how hard he is going to work as he moves forward in his career. I really consider him the guard version of Al Horford. Someone who came into the NBA ready and with a great attitude.

And you know what, credit where credit is due. I've been absolutely killing Jordan Farmar since forever. He stepped it up tonight on both ends. Drew a charge on the perimeter, playing solid D and moving with his feet. He moves with his hands too much and it costs him a lot. Tonight, he played with his feet and played well.

Good win for L.A. Nice to see we pulled through in the 2nd half.

Derek Rose will be phenomenal in the future, no doubt about it. His potential is sky high, just like L.A.'s own Andrew Bynum. Hopefully we see the two dominating the nba in the future and as the faces of L.A and CHicago

Chris Paul may go down as the greatest point guard of all time. Derrick Rose doesn't having the same playmaking/vision that Paul does. Hell of a point guard though. He's his own type of player - he's got a wicked crossover and a first step, finishes very well, has above average passing skills. He reminds me a lot of Stephon Marbury actually, without the selfishness and attitude.
