Jordan Hill reminds me of a raw version of Amar'e Stoudemire. He has the jumper right inside the 3, dunks over people and I think he is a better defender then Amare is. His jumper looks identical to Amar'e also.

Jordan Hill is good but he doesn't have the killer instinct on Offense like Amare.

Now that was a tuff match up for the devils. A better team, a team that is know for their zone D. They just had too many weapons and the devils could not figure out or break the zone.
Man Biff, you have to watch the whole package. Harden just turned 19!!! That’s right. Now I will say he had to step up and he did not. But the thing is about those games you just compared is that he did not do it in scoring; he at least stepped up in the passing game or rebounds or steals. You don’t see that in most players out their. So don’t read into the numbers too much. I think he has shown the killer instinct and want the ball at times. He showed it against the kitty cats 5 times this year. He also showed it against a highly ranked bruins team twice this year and more.
I have heard Paul Pearce comparisons due to their lack of explosion. Thing is, I have seen the kid explode and dunk on people. He is very methodical in the way he plays. He lets it develop and is more patient then most players his age. The athletic freak is not always the best player, and that is where fans and scouts go crazy. Plus, Harden is no Morrison. Horrible comparison.
Is he going to be an All-star???? Honestly, even before these two games, I think he was going to be a strong role player, a #2 or #3. He is that all around player you need on your team.
One scout said this about Harden. He said basically, harden is a guy that can take over a game in many ways. He can drop 40 on a team, he can pull off a triple double, or score 12 pts, grab 8 rebs and dish out 8 ast etc. He is a team player, a guy that rather take the WIN instead of the stats.
Now I agree and love these type of players. Most of the time, he has been the man for this team, but he did not step it up when the lights were the brightest. His stock will slide a little, but remember, the workouts are a different animal. There are a ton of players who stepped it up in the tourney and have been crap in the nba. Same with those who have amazing workouts. So, I won’t buy to much into this. He is a top 10 talent hands down. That’s my opinion.

Re: OT: NCAA Tournament (ASU & UofA)
The kittycats got lucky with their draw. I have watched Utah, and I knew uofa would win. Utah is an even softer team then the kittycats and would lose to a Ivy league team. But then they lucked out again and got Cleveland State. Now, you have to have luck to get far into the tournament, (especially as a 12 seed) and the kittycats got lucky and SHOULD not have got into the tournament. They had some solid wins this year, and was a team that was very skitsophrantic with those big wins against Kansas and the zags.
The Cats will not get past a hard pressing D from Louisville. They are just not that good and are playing over their heads as of now. Well, this is what I thought they should have been doing this whole time but I think this is not really who this team is.
I am happy they made it this far because no one else in the Pac could get past the 2nd rd. I am a huge ASU fan, but always cheer for the home conference no matter what. Good for them and I will be cheering for the upset. Even though my bracket has UL moving on. But the pac was really weak this year. We had some solid teams, but not like the past.
Keep your eye on USC next year. They have the best recruiting class coming in.

Oh, On the other hand, the kittycats has the talent to make a run and get past Louisville. If Hill can stay out of foul trouble, if Budinger can continue to play up to his potential and if Wise can handle the press and the athletism of the guards, they have a chance.
I hope it is a good game because no one is giving love to the pac.

How did the cats get lucky with playing Cleveland state? All they did is kill Wake Forest when a lot of people picked them in the final four, and beat Syracuse at Syracuse. The Sun Devils got beat pretty easily to Syracuse on a neutral site. Think about it, the cats probably had the worst season in the last 25 years due to coaching changes, players transferring, etc. and the devils had one of they're best seasons of all time and the cats still got farther.

He'll be nothing more than a role player in the NBA, which isn't bad, but some of my friends talk him up like he's going to be superstar. If Temple and Syracuse can take him out of the game, highly unlikely.
Harden will still be a lottery pick.
I would also give up on trying to project someone's worth in the NBA off of your perception of them in the NCAA. Rarely does it reflect well on you.
I disagree once again. I think the tournament is a very good reflector of how well they'll do in the NBA. They're facing the top talent in the nation during the tournament. If guys have trouble scoring on some of the better college teams, they're going to struggle in the NBA as well. Take a quick look at Morrison, he was not a good scorer against NBA level talent and that has translated to his NBA game. Harden did absolutely nothing both games during the tournament. He'll be a decent player, but I seriously doubt he'll ever be starter material.
You would be the guy to rail on the FO for the Nash and Majerle picks.
