How's my team?

Post#1 » by VinnyTheMick » Tue Sep 4, 2007 10:57 pm

So my league's draft was today & I missed it (job interview) but I did pre-rank players & came out with this team

QB- Drew Brees/Jay Cutler
WR- TO/Santana Moss/Reggie Brown/DJ Hackett/Mark Clayton
RB- Steven Jackson/Cedric Benson/Cadillac Williams
TE- Shockey/Heath Miller
K- Vinatieri

D- Chicago/Oakland

So what do you all think?

Looks pretty strong. Biggest weakness is probably at the WR position, but I don't even think thats weakness really.

WR looks kinda weak. mark clayton is useless. drop him. also, you don't need two defenses. chicago is good enough. you can drop oakland and pick up a RB or WR.

*correction, mark clayton is good... i always mix him up with michael clayton.... sorry sorry sorry.

I'd go with either Norwood or Betts. Both are on the right side of a committee with another, more injury-plagued back.

I dropped Oakland's D & added Betts. I think he has more potential to put up big yards.

Wait, so you drafted Clayton ahead of all those guys? Wow.

Take Holmes before someone else does.

No, I didn't. I had a job interview & missed the draft. I had preranked just in case but most of my preranks were already taken by the time I got Clayton. I have no idea why they drafted him before Holmes or others.

EDIT- I see why, they have Holmes at ranked 97 while Clayton is 83 :nonono:

Woops, I meant to say "they" meaning Yahoo... instead of "you" but now that makes sense in light of the rankings.

In any regard, take Holmes.

Yeah I hear you but I think Clinton Portis won't stay healthy the entire season & given how Ladell was a monster last season I thought it was the safer bet.
