Eh, news changes nothing. Hope his eye heals and doesn't give him any major issues next season.

to me, tanking is pointless

we know this cursed team wont get a top 3 pick - so whats the difference...

dont tank, make the playoffs and get these young guys some experience in playoff games which is priceless

or tank and get a pick that is 3 spots higher?

just play to 100%, we have too many young guys to set a bad example by tanking

Hey guys, I bumped this thread back up because of the Amare interview on Saturday. Did you guys get a chance to see it ?
They were asking Amare how his recovery was coming along, his response was basically that it is healing well and fast and that he should be back healthy and a 100% in about a month, or two.

If it is healing well and fast, then he could be back for the playoffs, possibly even during the first round. I know I may be reading between the lines too much, but I think it is possible. Remember when this first happened, the initial down time was 8 weeks, then we had the ihateginobli report of maybe it would only be 4 to 5 weeks, then two weeks after the surgery Dr. Dugel said at that point it looks as if Amare would be done until next year, but they also said it is extremely hard to predict how long this type of injury will take to heal because everybody's body heals differently and at different rates. So, with Amare saying it is healing "well and fast" and that he should be "healthy and 100% in a month, or two" maybe the initial 8 weeks was pretty close to right on and he will be back for the playoffs.

Maybe it's wishful thinking on my part, but if what he is saying is correct, i think it is very possible. So if you have heard or seen the interview, what are your thoughts. If you haven't, go to suns.com and watch it, then come back and give your thoughts........

I don't know if I'd want him back for the playoffs; the risk of reinjuring that eye is too great, and we would have to start gelling again.

Pretty sure IHG said it was done, and he's out til next year.

Personally, if this team makes the playoffs I'd rather stick with the team that has clicked and WON together...
