both had great games

Mills
9-22
1-10 from 3
23 points
10 assists - im sure its a career high(doesnt surprise me at all given hes a big game player)
1 turnover - 10 assists 1 turnover i like that :)
1 steal
1 block

Curry
11-27
4-10 from 3 - not bad
9 rebounds - impressive
5 assists - thought he would of got more
2 steals
6 turonvers - pathetic

pretty even game for both guys and im thinking we should pick one up with the miami pick
even if we do get rubio(he will need a backup telfair to me doesnt cut it)

i dunno why though on peoples draft theres such a huge gap between curry and mills though esp since mills has played well against guys like paul,Kidd aand williams

I haven't seen much of Mills since the olympics, but I would be ecstatic if we drafted him with the right pick. Just seeing an Aussie playing for the Wolves would be awesome, and given a chance I think he could surprise.

Stanley Robinson would be an awesome 2nd round pick.

Can we draft Stanley Roberts again? That would be amazing!

Seems like a problem for many of the wing guys. Harden and Henderson.

If he is 6'6/7 then he is a michael finley and should be considered with our pick. If he is 6'5/4 then he is not a lotto pick.

This is why Turner stands out for me. I don't get why Warren and Henderson would be better prospects than Turner.

I'm starting to warm to Turner if we had like the 10th pick, or even like the 8th.

Warren does nothing for me as a Wolves player.

Thabeet just dosent get it from what Ive seen...He will be a good rebounder after he ajusts. Just seems soft and been in school for how long?

Curry is not a twig.
.

Fair enough. However, Thabeet has improved drastically each year in school and there's no reason to think he won't continue to improve at an impressive rate. Also, I don't know that I would call Thabeet a twig. He's no Shaq/D12, but 7'3" and 265 lb is no twig. Granted, he gets outmuscled too much, and needs to use better leverage and maybe bulk up some more, but he's no Corey Brewer twig. Curry is no bulkier for his position than Thabeet is for his if we are just arguing twiggy-ness.

That's true, but bulk is a bit more important for Thabeet's position than it is for Curry's. Especially since leverage will always be a bit of a problem for him due to the high center of gravity that comes with being 7'3".

I also don't think that Thabeet's improved drastically each year he's been in school. There was a lot of improvement between his freshman and sophomore seasons, but I don't think there's been a whole lot of improvement from his sophomore year to his junior year. He rebounds a little better, but that's about all I see. Yeah, he's better than he was last year, but not drastically so. I'm not a big fan of his, but 7'3" is still 7'3", and that alone can change a game at times.

I was very impressed with him in that U Conn / Syracuse marathon game. He looked like a legit NBA prospect - probably more so than anyone else in that game

I'm with you on Warren, we've done the undersized bit enough.

I've warmed to Turner a lot the last few weeks. I've had my eye on him since last year when he put a disgusting move on Damian Johnson at the Barn. I liked him most of the year as a mid round prospect, but he really stepped up the last few weeks while guys like Harden kind of disappointed. Looking at the guys DX is projecting in the lottery (no Rubio, of course, there's also no Turner, so that puts me in a box), I'd take him at #2. I've soured on Harden, there's no need for Hill, Thabeet scares me, and I haven't seen enough of Jennings. I don't see a better fit for this team than Turner (unless Evans starts playing out of his gourd),

Henderson is considered a more pure scorer. A Jrich/Finley type. Turner would be a poor man Joe Johnson. Great if he puts it all together but Jalen Rose if he does not.

Warren does nothing for me and should not be on the draft board.

what if you're sitting at #5? Do you still take Turner straight up? or trying to trade down? If Turner descides to declare I think afer the combine and workouts his stock will rise, he's clearly has the best size out of all guards. All scouts call him the most underrrated player in the draft, but draft sites don't give him enough credit, but they don't now much, they just guess.

And what exactly in your mind will make Turner A POOR MAN'S Joe Johnson?

He is not the athlete Joe Johnson is. He is also much more raw. But remember that Joe Johnson was drafted as a poor man Pippen and took years to develop.

they both good but not great athletes, JoeJohnson is good because of his all around skills, and not because of crazy hops and top 10 sport center plays.

I agree, but that is the reason why he is a poor-man. Similar skill set but not that level.
