INCREDIBLE post drza!!! I give you a standing ovation b/c I have felt this exact same way since KG and Duncan have been rivals. I've ALWAYS felt KG was the better player, but played with less-talented teams his entire career, and when he finally did get a good supporting cast, he wins a title with them in their first season together. The ONLY thing Duncan is better at, IMO, is getting to the free throw line...and I think that is mostly because the refs give it to him. Just watch KG and TD their whole careers and their relationships with the refs - Duncan complains and whines about EVERYTHING, whereas KG seems to me to get the least amount of respect for a superstar than anyone from the refs, but he doesn't complain nearly as much as Duncan does.

I love you KG and that was a great post drza. I may have to copy and save that into word to keep it in my back pocket. I'll give credit to you though if i ever use it lol. I've written so many things like this about KG's career and things of the sort.

Hopefully we can make it to the finals and face the Spurs and see who really is the best. Thats who i wanted to play last season. That would be the best possible Finals matchup IMO and I would LOVE to see KG dominate Duncan and the C's to beat the Spurs.

But don't let a Spurs or Duncan fan see that b/c if they do, they'll have a lil hissyfit. Trust me. The things KG gets criticized for are so outrageously stupid, its absurd. One of my friends read that and said KG has DEVOLVED the game of basketball. He also criticized KG for showing so much emotion. But when he was in sota, thats what people liked about him, was his desire and fire to win. But now since he's winning and being succesful and still having that same fire and emotion, its seen as him being a punk or something. I'd rather have KG and his intense emotions than Duncan and his dumbfounded, lost look. I don't get it. It will never end with KG. and its really sad because he's an all-time great.

Where did Mrs. Paula Pierce go?

I think KG's emotion and TD's lack of emotion are equally fine...they are different individuals, both of them fantastic players and good guys, both champs and future HOFers...to each his own!
It's still 17 to 11!!!!
