Pre-game ritual

Post#1 » by jcrysdale63 » Thu Mar 26, 2009 9:31 pm

Do Ray Allen or Paul Pierce have a pre-game ritual, something they do on the court right before tip off? An Example of this would be LeBron throwing up the chalk at the scorers table or Dwyane Wade doing a pull up to the rim.

LeBron copies everyone. First KG. Then he copied the camera thing from about every person who has ever celebrated in the end zone. You even see pop warner kids doing that.

KG also adjust his shorts by the pad below the hoop and then bashes his head against it.

Yeah, but Michael Jordan and Reggie Miller clapped the powder in the score keeper's face before any of these guys did. Not like a have a thing for the Spurs or Duncan, but I like how Duncan has his own original ritual of cradling the ball and talking to it.

Thanks for the replys.

Ray always takes the ball from the ref before the tip and takes it to one of the baskets and does his shot motion without releasing the ball.

 The preening and posing in front of the scorers table before tip-off is really revolting, too...
