C's are favored by 1

Accuscore has the C's winning 57.7% of the time.

Magic @ Bucks has a great chance of being a let down game for Orlando

Rondo and KG are gametime decesions.

http://www.boston.com/sports/basketball ... tics_blog/

Celtics coach Doc Rivers described guard Rajon Rondo and forward Kevin Garnett as game-time decisions for tonight's game against Atlanta after this morning's shootaround at Georgia Tech. But Rondo, who has sprained both ankles recently, said while wearing ice packs on both ankles after shootaround that he expected to play. Garnett, who returned a week ago from a strained right knee, didn't do any physical activity at the shootaround today. Rivers, however, said that Garnett hasn't had a setback and he has made the All-Star a game-time decision in every game since his return.

We're gonna lose this one if KG doesn't play, and we'll still probably lose if KG only plays 16 minutes. We need him down low, he's our biggest advantage when we play the Hawks. Ray Allen and Pierce BOTH have to have big games in order for us to take this one.

Hopefully I'm wrong, but I don't feel too good about tonight.

we just can't seem to get right. I say let Rondo sit but play garnett. Maybe it will get Marbury going

I'm sick of this **** too. We don't even have enough healthy players to be okay resting our injured ones.

At this point, I just want to say. F it. Rest Pierce,Ray,Rondo, and KG for a week. Sign some D-leaguers. Lets just stick with the third seed and at least have our core healthy. But I we don't even have enough healthy players to do that.

Marbury needs all the time he can get to get his legs back anyways. And Moore sucks. Hopefully we can pick up a D-league big that we'll use rather then him.

The injury is obviously more serious than the celtics are letting on. KG must have had some sort of setback. I don't see the celtics winning this game.

Does not sound good overall from boston.com

ATLANTA – Kevin Garnett’s jersey sat untouched inside his locker at Philips Arena tonight and it’s uncertain when he will wear it again.

Garnett will miss tonight’s game against Atlanta due to soreness in his right knee. The All-Star recently missed 13 games with the knee injury before returning to play the previous five games. Rivers said that Garnett’s latest injury wasn’t serious and didn’t call for a meeting with a doctor. While Rivers said it was possible Garnett could return Sunday night against Oklahoma City.

But Rivers also acknowledged that there has been some consideration to sitting Garnett until late in the regular season and a determination would be made “sometime soon.”

“He’s not feeling great and we’re just not going to take the chance,” Rivers said about Garnett. “A day of rest… It’s more just the whole knee strain. We’re just going to go day by day. I’d say that because we’re sitting him down that we’d probably do it for more than one game. But I’m not sure yet.

“If he feels great (Saturday) then Sunday comes back into play. It’s no reason to take a chance.”

Celtics forward Glen Davis started in Garnett’s place. Rivers added that if it were a playoff game Garnett would have been playing and that a lot of upcoming practices could aid his return and he wasn’t overly nervous about the situation.

“Its uncharted waters,” Rivers said. “We don’t know where we are going with this right now. But what we do know is we’re going to do whatever it takes to be 100 percent when the playoffs start. And whatever that takes, that’s what we’re going to do.”

Godddamit NBATV is not working tonight.
SamIam 2010: Truth's ability to play so incredibly efficiently is so UNDERAPPRECIATED. Bballcool 2012: Amazing how great Pierce has been for so long. Continues to defy age! KG 2013: P is original Celtic. Wherever he goes, we go. This is The Truth's house.

KG will be fine, dont let him do anything until he is ready to play, then let him work his way back into shape.

As long as he is around for the second round and on we are fine.

We SUCK at passing the ball. Why does this team have to force the ball in unnecessary situations like that?

I have already warned you about your one line posts about how much Ray Allen sucks. This contributes absolutely nothing to this board. Consider this your last warning. canman
