the main reason why i drafted fisher was to get a veteran leader so it makes no sense to deal him right now.. but maybe later in the game.

and blackice since you want to deal ur players already how about
roy
iggy

for
millsap (1M)
Keven martin (9.5M) 24PPG
Charlotte Hornets

The reason I was going to deal Iggy was not that I didn't like him, it was just because I wanted to draft Wallace. Roy was my 1st pick at 5. He is a top 8 player and makes 3 mill. I'm not looking to trade him. I took him over Howard. Roy is gonna cost you:

Howard (14mill)
Millsap (1 mill)

for

Roy (3 mill)
Okafor (9 mill)

You could then move martin for a big.

Again, I was going to take wallace, you guys didn't get back to me in time. I now need iggy a lot more, I don't have the luxury of dealing him as easily now.

Iggy (11 mill) and Westbrook (3 mill)

for

Pierce (18 mill)

You save a lot of money, 4 mill, and really upgrade your defense.

Your lineup

Williams/Westbrook
Iggy/Westbrook
Artest
Bosh
Kaman

and you save 14 mill, so that could go towards free agency. You could sign a guy like Lewis, a shooter that can backup multiple positions and give you more 3P shooting. Or you could sign someone else, or multiple guys, this trade gives you more flexibility.

Neither of us can edit other people's posts to fill in names, Shaq could potentially edit the first post of that thread with rosters though I suppose.

fair enough, how about something centered around artest then? Replace piece with artest in the deal. Piece moves to the 3 and Iggy is at the 2. Both players are defensive guys (though the edge would go to artest) but Iggy is better offensively.

Numbers for iggy and artest respectively.

ppg: 18
rpg: 6
apg: 5
stl: 1.7
FG% 468

Artest

ppg: 17
rpg: 5
apg: 3.2
stl: 1.6
FG% 402

Iggy is a lot more efficient, and he has no 'character issues'. Iggy and Westbrookfor Artest makes sense for both of us. Westbrook backing up the PG and SG spots gives you lockdown D and explosive offense off the bench.

Go ahead, if you want you can throw in mo williams, to save you 8 mill in cap space and move westbrook to the point we can do that to, though I'd prefer you to keep mo, I'm willing to take him in the deal. Up to you, I can sign my PG in free agency.
