Rasheed Wallace anyone?

Post#1 » by joe.linnen » Sat Mar 14, 2009 7:06 am

I was thinking about this. I'm a Laker fan and I have mad respect for the Spurs. I read something today and it made me wonder if Bonner was enough for you guys in the middle. I love the ract that he can spread the floor, but is his defense up to par? That's where Wallace steps into the picture. He can spread the floor and play defence. On top of that he would fit into you team perfectly. He could be had for the MLE if not less. He'll be after his second title too, so its a win for the Spurs and a win for Wallace. Wallace would allow Duncan the space he needs down low too. I can see it now Duncan kicking it out to Wallace for the game winning or sending it to overtime with a 3 pointer.

Spurs:
SF:Finley/Bowen
PF:Duncan/Gooden
C:Wallace/Bonner
SG:Mason Jr./Ginobili
PG:Parker/Hill

They maybe old but they can still ball

So would you guys go after him?

I was just fantasizing about Sheed and AI coming to the Spurs for peanuts like Malone and GP came to the LAkers that year to wrest the title from us.

Of course we'd love to have Sheed.

Looking at Gooden in a Spur uniform makes me realize how weak Bonner and Kurt Thomas really are. We desperately need someone to help Tim up front.

I always thought Sheed would be great on the Spurs. It'd be helpful if you got some youth to build around, too....

Who would want a 35-year old man?
