No pictures, no players to watch for, none of that funny business. Go over to the Jets board if you want that.

Just win.

i know its football and one player does not determine a team but losing the best DE/DT in football is tough ( whatever you want to call him). i still think we are going to beat the crap out of this team, but i am more worried now than before.

i expect wes welker to have 10 catches this game. fantasy people play him this game. the jets db's will have their hands full with moss and stallworth- so watch welker explode

additionally- i expect atleast one td for moss.

Is it even known whether Moss is playing yet?

Caldwell was released when Moss returned to the practice field. If he doesnt play, I will be surprised. He said if they give him the green light, he is ready to go.

i think the hammy was played up a bit. for theatrics, for strategy, and to prevent an actual serious injury that couldve happened. i heard he was practicing with tom on other fields and people just didnt know it. thats just a rumor, but id believe it as much as not

i also think this is part of the situation with seymour. the dude has not been 100% in like three years. i wouldnt be surprised if he could play but bill said "with warren, wilfork, green... and then wright and how well lekevin smith has played, this is the time for the big fella to rest up for the stretch run"

I have grown fond of Logan Mankins, and he doesn't need a "catchy" nickname. Logan Mankins is a very cool name. A. Thomas is going to dominate. just watch.

im not really concerned about harrison and seymour being out. does it hurt? obviously. but what team has guys as high caliber to step in as we do in james sanders and jarvis green. green is the best back up defensive end in the league, and sanders could earn a starting spot in more than one secondary with the improvement and performance hes shown since mid year last season. sanders is being groomed to be the SS when harrison retires, so this is certainly within his abilities. he was adequate last year, so i expect more this year. also hes pretty tough in run support (but no rodney, who is) so its the coverage thatll hurt a little more. however, sanders has improved his range, and meriweather will likely be on the field for more challenging coverage assignments anyway.

Moss looked great in the 1st half-- he is making Revis, Miller and whoever they put on him his bitch.

Maroney started out great, but the run blocking has gone to **** and he is dancing a bit too much.

One of the Brady's is going to have a huge year. And it's not Kyle Brady.

Moss is amazing. I love touchdowns pulled down in triple coverage, how about you?

9 catches, 183 yards, 1 TD. He's back!

Overall great game for Moss and Welker (except the 2 dropped passes)

Also Ellis Hobbs is a beast    108yards

anyone starting to believe those injury reports concerning moss were played up. what a dominating performance.

aside from the dominance of brady and the pass game- i have to say i was very pleased with morris' contribution as a complement to maroney.

and this is so much sweeter b/c i hate the jets.

Well that was dominate for the Pats. This team needs to keep Moss healthy.

Couple thoughts:

-Even with all the good offensive performances today, the O-Line gets the gold star from me. Brady had all the time in the world back there.

-Brady's never had a deep threat even close to Moss (generally in the past most of the deep balls went to short, speedy guys like Bethel Johnson and Tim Dwight), so i'm glad to see there's some chemistry there already.

-I hope the injury to Sammy Morris isn't serious... I think he's gonna get the bulk of the short-yardage situation runs ala Corey Dillon.

-I really hope we're not the ones giving Asante Samuel his giant contract in the offseason. Laveranues Coles burned him at least once during the game, and I think it says something when Mangina has Pennington throw to Coles twice in a row in the end zone with Samuel covering him.

Great game.

Hobbs and Moss got me excited the most.

Jarvis! Always steps up.

Brady looked Brady.

O-line was great.

Maroney/Morris did there jobs as well. Both need to stay healthy.

Now lets go get those chargers!!
