Pacers vs Wizards

Post#1 » by xxSnEaKyPxx » Sun Mar 29, 2009 11:34 pm

My League Pass isn't working, but looking at the box score: Brandon Rush 3-4 for 7 points, while holding Caron Butler to 1-5 shooting.

Exciting game...

I'm trying to be serious when I say that.

Rush is looking really, really good. March Madness brings out the best in him! I wish he didn't wear those gooftrooper wrist bands though.

I love that we win meaningless games.

Yah, but at least Brush looks good and we got to witness Roy Hibbert foul out in the 3rd quarter.

Hopefully, this isn't just a flash in the pan by Rush.

I don't think it is. This is two games in a row. His confidence is soaring.

Two games in a row isn't anything, bro.

Anthony Morrow had a nice streak at the beginning of the season for the Warriors.

I would say 3 in a row, I thought he was great against the Heat when he played 41 minutes.

If he can develop into the kind of player he has been over the last 3 games we will have one hell of a shut down back court that can score with the best of them.

He still has a lot to learn though. He runs hot-and-cold, and needs more confidence offensively. At times, and especially during his slump, he didn't even want to shot.

This I realize, but Morrow is a specialist. Everyone knew from the get-go that the dude is a 3 point shooter. Rush has lottery talent and he has been stellar on defense most of the year. He's putting it together now.

Yeah, and it hasn't been one flash in the pan. He's had a few all across the season, so it was more a confidence issue than a talent fluctuation issue.

I have never questioned his talent, and I will say that Obie's rotation has hampered him as well. With that said, I wouldn't say that he's at the point when he can count on him for consistent 15-16 points yet.

...it's close. 12 points with his defense is better than anything Bayless has done with the Blazers though.

I don't even want to compare him to Bayless at this point. It's so pointless, to me.

It's pointless in general. Bayless is also like 3 years younger than Rush. I'm just happy he is showing signs of life, because I was getting worried.
